Room Mate Valeria

One of my best accommodation experiences so far! Outstanding location, the most professional staff, great rooftop together with bar, chill area and a swimming pool. Room was very clean and modern. Breakfasts varied, fresh and very tasty, served until noon. We felt great there, greeted not only by outstanding receptionists, but also cleaning service or people serving the breakfast. Our point of contact was usually Javier and he made us feel very welcomed- extremely professional, nice and well mannered person! In case I will come back to Malaga- I will definitely choose Room Mate Valeria.

It was a last minute booking, first time in Malaga, very good experience. I really like the artistic design in the hotel room.

The Valeria is in the most perfect location. It’s literally just a couple of minutes walk from - and actually in between - the interesting and bustling Port/Marina with its cruise ships and superyachts, and the interesting and bustling historic centre with its restaurants, tapas bars, and beautiful old buildings…and also literally two minutes away from the Airport Bus Stop, and the hop on hop off bus stop. What’s not to love.. The hotel itself is lovely, with a ‘boutique-style’ feel, and friendly, helpful staff who do their best to look after their guests. Our room, a little like the one pictured, was beautifully and simply decorated, spacious, and comfortable, with tea, coffee and a kettle, and a fridge/minibar. The bathroom matched the room and had great showers. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve had anywhere, similarly the pillows, and we slept brilliantly. We couldn’t hear anything from other hotel guests, the curtains kept the dawn light out, and the aircon was almost silent. And even though the traffic noise outside was loud, the balcony doors were virtually soundproof. Must also mention the rooftop bar for its great views, great cocktails, and great vibe. Malaga is a great place..and we also had a day out by train to Cordoba to see the Mesquita - which is amazing - and which we didn’t book in advance, just bought tickets when we arrived. Highly recommend Malaga for a city break. And can’t believe there’s a hotel there that’s nicer - at such a good price too - than the Valeria. Thank you to all the staff

My wife and I have just returned from a great stay (8nts) at the Valeria. This was our third stay in the city and were keen to be close to the centre and marina. We stayed in a junior suite (101) which suited our needs. The separate lounge was was lovely. We booked room only as we like to experience the local patisseries and bakeries for breakfast. The Reception and Housekeeping staff were always very polite and efficient. The roof top bar was fun for drinks and a great view. For tapas try Kraken in Plaza de la Flores and Cheringuito Tropicana on the beach for whole grilled fish. Nusa terrace in the marina was our favourite for drinks. Book direct with the hotel for the best price. Taxi from the airport was about €22. We've also stayed at the Molina Lario and Gran Hotel Miramar.

I enjoyed my stay.

We had a superb stay at this property. Check in was quick and easy and we were given a late check out which was most appreciated since we had a late night return flight. Public areas are modern and pristine as were the bedrooms. Roof top bar was also great. A special mention to Asier on the front desk who facilitated our late check out, many thanks. We will definitely return.
