The location is nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom was also pleasant. The parking garage is very small and it was a shame that the bar and restaurant were closed.

Attractive hotel with external ‘living wall’ and modern interior decor. Guy on reception so friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant stay, marred only by the current closure of the rooftop bar due to refurbishment 😩

Just back from 3 nights at this hotel and couldn't fault it. 11 minute train from the airport to Alamada station then a 3 minute walk We arrived at 1130am and our room was ready, lovely reception staff. Clean , comfy beds. Great location. Excellent breakfast served til 1130 in the week and midday at weekends. Our highlight was the rooftop terrace! The bar is open from 4pm, beach towels provided,not the cheapest bar in the city, but we loved it.Great bar team. My only one minor gripe would be one bottle of water only provided in 3 days. Loved it, I'm recommending to all my friends and family!

A great stay. The Mariposa is well located not far from Alameda train station and the Atarazanas market ( fabulous food!) .Room was to the front of the hotel so subject to some street noise but the double glazing is effective. Great personnel.. attentive in a subtle way and running things like clockwork at breakfast. Breakfast is very good for the size of hotel...they have all you would want and the products are top quality. You can cut and squeeze the juicing oranges yourself or just pour from the jug! There are hot food options as well as a wide selection of cold items. An effective if rather slow toaster and a good hot drinks machine. The biggest asset is the roof terrace bar and solarium.. this is a haven of peace and calm in which to relax in comfort in stylish surroundings French owners...and they have a flair for style..the decor is really nice. A top quality hotel and TT definitely recommends.

This was a nice 4 star Boutique Hotel with 5 star service! The service we received from the staff was exceptional, everyone went out of there way to make this a perfect stay.

This is a lovely hotel. It’s very conveniently situated on the edge of the historic centre of town, so everything is very easy to walk to. It’s also only about five minutes’ walk from the Malaga Centro Alameda train station – but be aware that most online maps don’t seem to know where the entrance is and are likely to send you in entirely the wrong direction! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff were always helpful (although the night staff didn’t speak English, and my Spanish isn’t good enough to explain a problem). There was a good choice at breakfast and it was particularly nice to be able to squeeze our own orange juice. There isn’t a restaurant, but the rooftop bar is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and relax on mild evenings. There is no hotel restaurant, but there are many restaurants very nearby.
