Great location, in the centre of Malaga, had everything we needed, very clean and quiet.

The worst experience ever, it was a nightmare….rude & condescending front desk, irresponsible management José Ignacio(Director Apartamentos Debambú) & bug infestation. Our stay was marred by several serious issues that significantly impacted our comfort and our experience in Malaga & our trip. First and foremost, upon entering our room within the first hour, I was shocked to discover the presence of swarming bugs. This not only caused immense discomfort but also raised concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance standards of the property. Additionally, the level of hospitality extended to us during our stay was far below expectations. The staff appeared indifferent to my concerns and failed to provide the level of service one would expect from a reputable establishment with such good reviews. Fran at the front desk mentioned the bugs are harmless when I showed the video. As a paying guest, I believe it is reasonable to expect a certain standard of cleanliness, comfort, and service. Regrettably, my experience fell far short of these expectations. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by their establishment. They sent the cleaning staff who came and sprayed the bugs, vaccuming & Re-vacuuming for over an hour. They did not have the decency provide us a place to rest for the time they needed to do the cleaning & spraying the insecticide to kill the bugs in the living room. We were in our rooms with door closed & when requested they refused to change our room. We suffered headaches & nauseousness due to odious spraying. I filmed everything. Next day there was over flowing water in the shower, we had to use all towels to dry floor & when I ask for towels, Fran asks me to bring back the wet towels to their office inorder to get more towels. Not only were your reception person not helpful but he was condescending & rude. When I emailed the manager explained our situation with film & requested change of room or compensation I was informed of a next time discount. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I believe there's bug infestation & they don’t care.

Found the design dysfunctional and alienating

There were TERMITES ALL OVER THE APARTMENT. They took hours to send help, and when they did they left all the supplies and the apartment had a bad smell from the odor so we asked for a new room. They refused and said the apartment “looked fine”. Bunch of things were broken in the apartment, washing machine, backboards. Service is terrible. Don’t be fooled
