We were travelling with a group, so I did not select the hotel myself. It was billed to us as a 5-star hotel. I would not give it 5 stars, although it was perfectly nice. To be honest, there were different rooms with different amenities. Our room was clean, comfortable and bare bones. There was a balcony, but I still felt like we were hidden in the attic! The hotel did not have a central gathering place aside from the lobby. Many people from our group ended up in the elegant lobby bar of the sister hotel across the square. Still, it was a very good location right on the square. It was a short walk to May 3 Street, where there were many cafes, bars and shops. I checked the internet and rooms were available here at very good prices. There was a restaurant that looked interesting, but we did not have time to eat there. English speaking staff was friendly. Some women from our group went to the spa and had massages, but I did not see it.
