This was our first visit and we will certainly stay again. Jeremy was a most attentive host and nothing was too much trouble. The position right next to the Malelane gate into Kruger meant getting into the park early was not a problem. Nice rooms with fan and air con, lovely swimming pool and are a to sit and relax. Thank you for a great stay.

Geweldige cottage met comfortabel bed in super veilig gebied. Uitstekend ontbijt. Dicht bij 2 toegangspoorten tot het Kruger Park.

Overnighted at Mhlati Cottages before entering Kruger National Park during December. Very impressed with the service, stay and the location of the Mhlati cottages only a stone throw away from the Malelane gate. Ideally located and equipped for anyone that would like to travel into Kruger as a day visitor or as a overnight stop before entering. The breakfast offered was also excellent.

The management and staff is very friendly and the place is beautiful, and it has overwhelming safari element I would recommend it whenever to anyone who want to travel that side of the Mpumalanga province.

Very close to Kruger gate so a good base for a Kruger trip. Comfortable rooms with airconditioning. Lovely outdoor areas with pool. We’ll set up for self catering. Host went out of his way to be helpful.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Mhlati Guest Cottages. The owner Jeremy was super friendly and very helpful - probably the nicest host we ever had :-) The rooms are spacious, very beautiful and have everything you need. The location is perfect as it's just 5 minutes to Malelane Gate. We would definitely recommend at Mhlati Guest Cottages!

Super nice and spacious room. Comfortable bed and excellent location to visit Kruguer park. The owner gave us good tips for our stay there and they prepared a picnic-breakfast for us at our request. Highly recommended.

I have been travelling to Malelane on business for almost 30 years and have found the perfect place to stay over on the 5-6 trips I do per year. Set in a beautiful suburb close to the sugar mill the mature tropical shady garden already welcomes you in. The layout of the breakfast area is inside / outside creating a superb breakfast setting or late afternoon resting space. The rooms are generously laid out and well appointed - surrounding a swimming pool. Staff very hospitable, efficient and friendly. I really felt at home and have finally found my home-from-home - even after just one visit.

Very warm welcome in a nice place We’ll maintained and clean Nice rooms nicely decorated The place is ideal to visit Kruger for the day or before entering the Kruger as Malelane has big shops to buy foods for the safari There are shops in the park but not a lot of choice and a bit expensive
