Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel

We have just arrived home after an amazing 2 weeks, We went on a family holiday with 6 adult and 3 children aged between (5 and 2) The food was brilliant with a good selection to choose from every night, the snack bar was great especially for the children. The hotel and rooms were cleaned to a very high standard with the rooms being cleaned daily and restocked. The beach was lovely plenty of sun beds available on the beach we also made use of the boat hire we loved it so much that we did it twice. The water park was great although my daughter who met the hight requirements for the slide and can swim confidently was quite disappointed to not be allowed on the slides but they still had a great time in the 2 smaller splash parks. The pools were nice especially the larger one we tried to stay away from the smaller pool as it was questionable to how warm it was and the water was very merky. Also you had to be there early to get a sunbed lots of towels down as early as 6am !! The best thing about are Holiday hands down was the entertainment !!!!! It made our holiday all the team was lovely especially the girls Asia, Anna and Sara, Asia will be in my daughter's heart forever !! It was emotional saying goodbye to them as they all made our holiday special and one we will never forget. The hotel staff was also amazing and very accommodating to our needs. The upstairs bar staff Elena, stefanos and the other lady were great they also made the best cocktails :) Only negative was were the evening entertainment was one of our family members were disabled and it was quite an ordeal to get her there every night as we had to wait for staff members with keys to open the doors, luckily she was able to do a few steps as the rote was not completely step free also there was no toilet facilities up stairs so a simple toilet trip for her took us 30 mins. All in all what an fantastic time we had thank you all !!!

This was a great hotel. We went as a party of 11. 5 of those were children. The hotel has everything a shop, creperie, various bars and resturants. Great friendly staff and I attempted to speak Greek which seemed to be appreciated. We arrived late afternoon and was speedily by the receptionship who was very friendly. We had Room 614 a swim up pool. The room was cleaned to a high standard. This room had a swim up pool. This was a god send as the pool area was very hot 40 degrees and the swim up room had some shade. The shop on site is a bit overpriced, but a short journey on the bus to the local town and prices are cheaper. Plenty of sunbeds The only issues we had was the entertainment were very selective who they asked to join activities. Power station next door but did not impact on holiday. The night entertainment are is very small and other spaces could be used better as the area was a roof terrace. Yhis was msinly kids entertainment. Brits were not the majority holiday maker.

The massage was exceptional from the amazing lady named Zwi. I seriously advise a visit. It lasted a whole 3 hours and very reasonably priced. We also got to enjoy the steam room, sauna and the jacuzzi as part of the deal and the service was nothing but exceptional.

I had the Hydra Face Massage at the Spa and it was AMAZING. Eirini was really great and her hands were magical. The girls at the Spa are all very friendly and Eleni the Spa-Manager does everything she can to fullfill your wishes and have an experience to remember!

We have recently returned from a 2 weeks stay here. We travelled with a 13 and 12 year old and 5 month old baby and stayed in a suite. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was plentiful and lots of options every meal time and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The suite was perfect for us staying as a family of 5, the living room was turned into a bedroom for the 12 and 13 year old and we had the bedroom. The only odd thing I would mention was there is no shower curtain or glassware covering the bath which was quickly remediated with the purchase of sticky hooks and a shower curtain. The main reason for our holiday was my sisters wedding and the day and lead up was absolutely perfect! The hotel grounds were immaculate and were regularly cleaned , there was plenty of sun beds around the pool, in the beach and by the splash park. There was also plenty of grass for a blanket to be laid on and my 5 month old to have a kick around. There was plenty of shade in the heat and the hotel overall was very cool if you wanted to hide from the sun. The crepe / waffle restaurant was a massive hit with the 2 older children and this was a regular haunt for them after a visit to the splash park. I had a massage in the spa which was wonderful, Gizyl was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. The staff could not do enough for you, they work extremely hard and constantly have a smile on their face - big shout out to Sofia front of house in the restaurant , she is lovely. We were slightly apprehensive about the power plant and our room was overlooking this and I have to say this did not impact our stay at all. There was an occasional whiff but this quickly went and didn’t impact us at all. If this is the only thing putting you off booking this hotel - don’t let it affect your decision at all!! I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be looking to come back!!

The music and decor was so peaceful, and my therapist Chrysa was absolutely amazing - so sweet and made me very comfortable for my first massage! The technique was brilliant too - perfect pressure, she would check in consistently, and it was so relaxing; felt like i was floating when I got up with all the knots she got out! So relaxing :)

We spent a very enjoyable and relaxing week at the hotel. It's located in a very quiet area, which was important to us. There is a lot of greenery and beautiful flowers around. The swimming pool was well-kept, cleaned every day, plenty of sunbeds, we always found a place, but there's not enough umbrellas by the pool. A beautiful sandy beach with gentle access to the warm sea. Very good food and nice service. During our stay, I was surprised with a birthday cake waiting for me in the room, it was a very nice surprise. Great spa, Eirini's massage was one of the best I've ever had. I recommend Atlantica Akti Zeus!

We have just arrived back from 7 days here and we loved it! We travelled as a family of 4, 2 children age 10 & 6. Hotel: The hotel is lovely, nice and clean and well maintained. Staff: The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food: The food was delicious with lots of variety. There are different themes each night and you get to dine for 1 night in the seperate seating area where you get served at the table. We didn't go to the Italian that is not part of all inclusive. Drinks were nice too. You can have house whiskey etc but if you want named brands you have to pay extra. Does get busy at peak times but we always found a seat. The cleaners do a really good job at trying to keep top of it all for the next people to sit down. Snack bar: this is really nice food. You can get ice creams and drinks from here in the day too. Beach: really nice and great being right on the beach. I would defo take water shoes for children as it's very rocky in the water and the beach get more stoney the more u walk to the sea. Rooms: bigger than we expected. Really comfy main bed. Children said their beds were OK but felt harder but they slept fine. Cleaners came in every day. Always topped the towels up. We were near splash area so we didn't hear noise at night with doors closed (on the balcony you could hear the next hotel music) Toilets in communal areas: always clean and topped up with toilet roll. Shop: on site was priced ok. Playarea: was closed as under construction (swings etc) but not a problem as lots of other things to do. Kids club: we didn't use Water slides: my kids loved this area. They did say some of the slides hurt their backs where joins meet. And the one thats for ages 5-10 the tiles at bottom must be sharper as they got a few cuts but it didn't stop them while playing it was afterwards they mentioned it. Also the bar in this area isn't included in all inclusive so a little further to get drinks. We used to fill our water bottles up when going in here. Entertainment: we only went to to entertainment terrace once for about 30 mins as my kids felt like they were too old for the first part (dancing with little kids etc) so we didn't go back but not sure what happens after the little dances. In the wine bar one night was a violinist which was nice change, this is a darker area, mood lighting with comfy seats. Pool: 2 pools, I think one is supposed to be adults and one childrens but I'm not sure which and kids were in both pools with floats. We had to get up around 7am to get towels down but there is grass that people used to sit on if no space. Didn't seem too busy though and beds did come available throughout the day. Crepe bar: was soooo yummy!!! We all loved it Bus stop is right outside the hotel too which was great, we went to Heraklion and Knossos Palace. Overall we had a great time and would return 😊
