We found this hotel to be excellent, and cannot agree with some of the other comments on here. The bed in our room (Bredon) was very comfortable, the food in the bar restaurant was excellent and the waiting staff attentive and caring. Food was served in a timely manner, not rushed or slow. Breakfast (full English for us) was also excellent and served by friendly caring staff. The hotel restaurant and bar areas were consistently busy and bustling with local people enjoying breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner. I think this is a reflection of the quality of food and service and the buzz of the place. The arrangements for returning to the hotel late at night are very straight forward and explained to the guests (we were returning later from a wedding so this was relevant to us). We couldn't fault our stay and found the rooms comfortable, heated to the right level (for us), staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. I would stay here again.

Whilst the food in the restaurant was very good the serving staff generally lacked knowledge and experience. Issues covered not having detailed knowledge of the menu, serving wine in the wrong glasses, setting out breakfast before completing the dessert order and a general lack of keeness.

The mattress was really uncomfortable, you feel the springs through the sheets! Due to the inclement weather the hotel and room were not warm and welcoming. There were lots of staff, all very friendly. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary so wanted a couple nights to mark the occasion. We thought they might a special effort to help us celebrate, but sadly just wished a happy anniversary It was extremely expensive for the room considering the state of bathroom and bed!

We had lunch at the Angel Inn, Pershore on the Monday of the Plum festival bank holiday. Great pub, great food and service that was just fantastic. The staff could have not been more helpful. In the garden there was live music and a great selection of food and drinks being provided. Well done the Angel, we will be back.

My husband and I stayed at The Angel for one night during the Pershore Plum Festival weekend. The hotel/bar worked hard to bring in and entertain customers with live music, food and drink in the grounds and all the staff worked really hard to make everyone happy. Our hotel room was as described on their website however there were quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling and some of curtain hooks were broken. The wifi didn't work but that was probably out of the hotels control due to the number of people at the festival. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel which were both delicious 😋

My wife and I popped into the angel for lunch on Wednesday. As vegetarians we often find that the vegetarian option is a pasta and to be frank it gets a little boring. so we ordered with fingers crossed. What can I say ? It was fresh and beautiful absolutely a delight. The Olive sharing starter was first class as well can't speak highly enough of the Angel and will certainly be returning

What can I say , wonderful , staff were curtious, friendly, and so helpful. So clean , This was a 60th birthday treat for my boyfriend. He was so over the moon. With everything. The cottages were incredible. Hot tubs were the iceing on the cake. A memory to cherish. Highly recommended.

Having booked a suite for 3 nights, we were fortunate to be upgraded to one of the lovely, newly completed, Fruit Tree Cottages. This was ideal as we were hosting a lunch party on the middle day in the Angel's restaurant, and were able to have family and friends for drinks before and after the event. It was easy to take the bus into Worcester for a day exploring this historic city. Our stay was greatly enhanced by the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff, who were exceptional.

Lucky enough to be asked if we wanted to upgrade to the new cottages (not conventional cottages but more like maisonettes) and so glad we accepted. Beautifully furnished, very comfortable, large and very comfortable beds. We had booked originally rooms in the hotel for B&B but the cottages are more than adequate for self catering. Will definitely book again when we are back in the area
