The bed was terrible had a terrible night the mattress was so worn out it completely squashed together as I sat on the bed. When I reported it to reception the lady informed me that they were being replaced but for us not soon enough! Sadley as everything else was ok

Spa closed earlier than expected and no footwear provided like other spas visited. Small problem with the system and our breakfast booking but staff were very helpful and it was sorted immediately.

We booked for afternoon tea in the Garden Room, as a farewell to a friend moving away from Malvern. We were given a table by a sunny window with a view to the terrace. The teas were beautifully presented, with sandwiches, scones and mini-desserts, and individual tea pots, plus a glass of fizz to wish our friend all the best. Our waiter, Mustafa, was attentive without being intrusive and promptly responded to any requests. Highly recommended.

Hotel is very nice. staff are helpful & friendly. Rooms are comfortable & clean. They provide the individual shampoo, conditioner etc, which was nice; I'm not a fan of a big bottle attached to the wall, as is becoming more common. If the hotel can't afford the individual bottles they are over-economising! Main gripe was the menu in the Garden Room restaurant in the evening. Reviews, their website and 'blurb' in the room speak of an a la carte offering. Nothing of the sort. For the last 2 months they have been offering 'pub grub'; pies, battered fish and sausages are the main offerings. Fine if that is what you want, but NOT what I either want, or indeed, can eat, being gluten intolerant and unable to eat large amounts of fatty foods. The Chicken Tikka I found was nicely presented and tasty, but as the only item available, a disappointment really. Breakfast was good, they brought hot fresh poached eggs when ordered and gluten free toast arrived quickly. Overall a nice hotel, let down by the disappointing lack of a good evening menu.

great check in, quick and friendly. Room was very large but slightly dated. An executive room isn't only judged on its size, but also by everything within. A very small tv doesn't help. Also mattress felt rather old. Spa area very nice and modern, although pool rather small. There are bedrooms above this area ( possibly an extension?) and I wonder if these are fresher as well? Breakfast not bad, good selection although bland coffee. However terrible service. No point in giving me a menu for cooked food if no one ever comes to ask if I would like anything!!

Enjoyed a 4 day stay at the Bank House Hotel on a DB&B deal. The only comment I would make regards the Dinner Menu which lacked any daily changes, even the “Pie of the Day” was the same for the first 3 nights offering Chicken and Stuffing filling; on the last night it changed to Chicken and Chorizo. What ever happened to good old British Pies like Steak & Kidney or Beef and Ale. Apart from the aforementioned this hotel has a great location for exploring the Cotswolds and we would thoroughly recommend it. The spa and swimming pool complex is first class.

Hotel and spa are set in lovely surroundings and the spa facilities and treatments are great. Myself and my wife really enjoyed our massages. Room was fine and really liked the power shower. But restaurant let the stay down really badly. Over priced and sub standard food with very sub standard portions. £25 for a sharing Charcuterie platter contained 1 small triangle of cheese and a few pieces of continental meats and some bread which was advertised as focaccia. Bread sharing platter came with rolls that were rock hard. Halloumi burger and rustic fries were so bad we left most of it. Battenburg dessert was so small it really was just 1 bite big. Drinking chocolate took a long time to come and waitress did say sorry for the long wait, but again it looked disgusting so I did not drink it. What a waste. By then we started to laugh as the whole dining experience was so bad, not just 1 part of it. We complained on the way out and was told our concerns would be passed on. Don't expect anything to be done anytime soon. If the restaurant served good food at a reasonable price I would have recommended this place and given it a 5 star rating.

Having just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel, it was a must to praise this extablishment and its wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our room , it was apparent how the staff cared about your stay. Our room was large and spacious, with a large walk in shower. Spotlessly clean with all we needed for our two day break including bathrobes slippers etc. The bed was extremly comfortable which was a key to a good nights sleep. We made use of the spa facility which was spotlessly clean and the pool area too. Tranquil is the word that comes to mind. The garden area was a lovely setting for some photo graphs. We enjoyed a quiet drink on the patio on both afternoons. It was a little busy in the bar saturday evening with some large golf parties, but we managed to find a quite area in the lounge. Dinner was excellent with the food beautifully presented and cooked, the live piano music was a lovely touch to enhance our dining expirience. At every moment of our stay the staff were on hand to enquire if all was well, all very friendly, chatty and there to inform or advise if asked. For us they were the touch that made this place a great experience . Breakfast was again a great start to the day , quality food well cooked.with a good choice. The granola was a particular favourite. A lovely anniversary break, enhanced at every stage, by caring attentive staff. This is The Bank Houses ace card from reception , room service, restaurant, and spa. Staff that put you- their guest- first . Many thanks for a lovely weekend
