Mr & MRS Smith Eckington Manor

Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Rainfall shower was refreshing but could do with hand held attachment. Bedding was high quality and quilt was warm. Breakfast was freshly cooked and good quality. We had evening meal on first night which wasn't cheap but was delicious. Staff were friendly and very welcoming.

I had this Experience as a Christmas Gift. I had a really enjoyable time and Chef Glynn was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. I would thoroughly recommend this course and I am sure others, if delivered with the same competence as this one. Eckington Manor is an extremely nice venue.

Comfortable and clean rooms, very nice staff

If you’re looking for a 5 star experience 25 mins away from Three counties Showground then this is it. Car parking is right in front of reception. Which is in a Dutch barn across courtyard from rooms. Our room was a superkingsize bed, very comfy, with a small sofa in the corner. Tea,coffee bics and a bottle of water provided. Breakfast was on first floor of Dutch barn. We were in abit of rush as had to be at showground for 9, but it was great. Full breakfast looked delicious. We would recommend and will stay here again. It’s an easy w5 mins from Showground. That’s with busy traffic too.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms and lovely setting with plenty of outside seating areas and attractive lounge area. We were a family group of 10 with a baby, celebrating a 60th birthday. We had a delicious 3 course dinner and excellent breakfasts. What made it most special was the very warm welcome and the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. Really good location with lots to visit in the surrounding area. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Absolutely appalling customer service. If the WiFi is not working you’re completely cut off from the outside world. Now I can understand that can be difficult to solve. But the way I was spoken to and the complete lack of trying to solve this in a manner that suits the room price left me very angry and completely baffled. The general manager just kept repeating the same sentence in a patronising tone. What a way to treat customers.

This was our first visit to Eckington Manor,we came with friends who were celebrating a forthcoming 80th birthday what a lovely place,the accommodation was first class we had dinner here on our third night it was a three course gourmet meal,everyone enjoyed it ,it was clean plates all round,would highly recommend ,we will come here again,first class service from all the staff,well done. A superb overnight stay (we had the Foodie Heaven package)...lovely, efficient staff, great food in the evening and at breakfast and a fabulous characterful room with huge, super comfy bed. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay the best possible. Highly recommended!
