The Malvern

My friend and I had been attempting to have a day of pampering& relaxation for months at this spa. We finally got a day that neither of us had commitments so we booked in. It is not a cheap day out but we thought we deserved a lovely treat. We were warmly greeted on arrival by a very pleasant young lady on the spa reception after being directed to the spa by main hotel receptionist. Donna was our spa host and she was extremely pleasant explaining everything. She gave us the time of our lunch and confirmed our treatment times. The swimming pool/spa pool was very nice and so warm it was like getting into a bath. You can swim or walk through to the spa pool section outside very easily. It was a fine sunny day for much of the day so we were able to be outside instead of indoors. The sauna and salt rooms were nice and so were the showers in that area. It’s a great pity though that there is not a toilet anywhere near the pool area. You have to leave that section and walk to the spa reception to find a toilet. We did notice that two taps that fill up the footspa’s had been rattling loosely around due to tiles coming away from the surrounding area. When I spoke to Donna about this she put them out of action until maintenance could repair. We encountered Sarah another spa host whilst outside and she explained the cute pods that can be hired. She was also extremely lovely. We had a delicious lunch in the restaurant and had our complimentary juice. The treatments we chose each were facials, using Elemis products. My therapist was Ilona and she expertly worked her magic on my face and décolletage , arms and fingers. I can’t remember the name of my friend’s therapist but she had been at the spa a few months and was also wonderful. We chilled in the chill out room for about half an hour before we drove home.

It just seems to improve everytime we visit! The staff are always friendly and happy even in passing. They had an issue with one of the saunas but was soon fixed in no time.Apart from that it all felt great.The rooms and on suite seemed to have a fresher feel to them. The new trees make it feel more relaxed and oxygenated. We just always seem to have a great experience everytime we visit

Admittedly the arrive of the hotel was a little surprising poor to look at but being greeted by lovely warm welcoming Ollie. He couldn’t do enough for us though out our stay. He made it very special being it’s my partner birthday and made us his special cocktail as a lovely treat X X Thank you xx

I booked this break due to everyday life getting on top of me and my husband - I’ve never been before and we truly had a wonderful stay. It was a really relaxing experience and feel that it was worth the money. The outdoor pools, gym and sauna were our favourite parts. The food was really nice and the rooms were lovely. Also, a huge shout out to Katie who did my hour bespoke massage. Honestly it was the BEST massage I’ve ever had - I literally felt the stress leave my body. Would absolutely recommend.

This is the 4th time that I have visited the Malvern Spa . It's amazing firstly the staff are super friendly and they really can't do enough for you . I would like to mention Liv that greeted us in the morning at breakfast with her friendly face and always smiling she is a credit to you . Also the one and only Ollie . Hola Ollie I was so glad to see he was still at the establishment . He is a star. A massive personality which is what every good business needs . All the staff work so hard . The place is lovely . I have read reviews where customers have complained about the location and the fact that there is an Aldis opposite . Come on guys when your inside the Malvern and in the pool is that really worrying you !!!!!! The food is exceptional . The food in the evening is amazing I have never ever had a bad meal and have dined at some of the best restaurants . Hats off to the chef . The treatments were fab and the very professional. The beds are so comfortable . My sister Jacquie and I are back again next year . It was sooooo relaxing . Thank you guys Amanda Compton

Great relaxing experience. Food very good, facilities clean and staff friendly - particular shout out to Steven on main reception who made our stay even more memorable, and Ellie one of the skincare specialist team for my fabulous facial and back massage.

Visited recently with my daughter for her birthday. Positives Emily, who gave me my massage, was very professional (when comparing experiences with my daughter, I don't think she received the same level of service) Every staff member we met was helpful and firendly. The place was well staffed throughout. Free cocktails with our dinner booking! Very quiet at night. Next to Aldi & other retail outlets. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with a basic selection & the cooked breakfast was nice. Lots of parking. Middles The meal was average - nothing special/awful. Bill took about 15 mins to come because of a mix up. Negatives Lift not working. Some areas of finish/decoration needed updating especially in the bathroom. The pool area was very busy. One of the salt rooms/saunas wasn't working. I think the vouchers/top up payment meant the night awy cost about £220? for B and B - I felt this was a little overpriced. A nice trip, but I wouldn't rush back

Spa excellent room very nice all the staff were outstanding special mention to ally he went the extra mile to be helpful and is a credit to the hotel spa very relaxing lovely steam room saunas and indoor and outdoor pool room was very nice only downfall was evening Meal was average breakfast was very good bar Area not to my liking but that was a personal thing would definitely return
