🚨 Think Twice Before Booking – Major Disappointment & Overpriced 🚨 It’s about time someone told the absolute truth about this resort. I usually don’t write reviews because I know that experiences can be highly subjective, but this case is so extreme that I felt compelled to share it in order to save others from a major disappointment. As a long-term traveler completing a two-month journey through Southeast Asia, paying 4,500 PHP per night for this villa was my biggest mistake. The property functions purely as a restaurant, treating hospitality like a neglected hobby. Avoid this place! 1 No Hospitality Management: The entire staff on-site is strictly focused on running the restaurant. There is absolutely no one here responsible for guest relations. When I complained about critical issues, they simply handed me a business card and told me to send an email to the owner who lives in the US! Does it make sense to pay a premium luxury rate and be told to email someone in the United States when you have a live issue? I emailed on day one, and I am still being completely ignored. 2 Severe Invasion of Privacy: The manager explicitly threatened me that if I left the room for more than 30 minutes, they would enter to turn off the AC. Staff repeatedly entered my private villa without permission the moment I stepped out. This is a terrible breach of guest security and privacy. 3 Deafening Night Noise & Pests: Due to agricultural ponds on-site, the area is heavily infested with mosquitoes and massive frogs. All night long, you are forced to listen to incredibly loud, piercing frog croaking that sounds like industrial machinery right next to your bed. Sleep is physically impossible here (I recorded videos at 2:30 AM proving this absolute nightmare). 4 Blinding Morning Sun: The villa features large upper windows made of completely bare glass with zero curtains or blinds. Sharp, blinding sunlight floods the room and hits you directly in the face from exactly 6:00 AM every single morning, turning the bedroom into a boiling greenhouse and cutting your sleep short. 5 Neglected Facility & Bad Wi-Fi: The villa is heavily neglected. The walls and ceiling have terrible paint peeling and deep, visible cracks. There is also a persistent ant infestation inside the room (on the bed, sofa, and bathroom) making it impossible to even sit on the balcony. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi is extremely unstable and constantly cuts out, making it impossible to work or stay connected. 6 Unusable Beach & Bad Water: Even though it is marketed as a beachfront villa, the beach in front is unkept, messy, and entirely unsuitable for swimming, with zero shade. The hot water in the shower fluctuates constantly between freezing and boiling, and the outdoor bathtub takes over 2 hours to fill due to non-existent water pressure. Bottom line: For 4,500 PHP, you can get high-end luxury in the Philippines. This place offers terrible value and isn't worth 500 PHP. In all my months of traveling, I h

Wow! What an incredible place to stay, the location is spot on as it is within walking distance to get a boat to White Island & to eat in town. The staff are very welcoming. friendly & lovely. The restaurant is a must, it was one of the best places we ate at and the food really was incredible, you absolutely pay for what you get. The views are stunning, and the bath tub has plenty of warm water and what a refreshing place to relax with the view we had. The beach is also next door to the accommodation, which is black sand but it’s still a nice beach to chill on. You can also see White Island so you can keep an eye on how busy it is from where you’re sleeping. We absolutely loved the stay and highly recommend a stay there.

We loved our stay! The villas are so comfortable and surrounded by amazing scenery with rice paddies and ocean views. The staff are so welcoming and made us feel at home. The food in the restaurant is excellent and we ate there most days. The location is perfect for exploring the island and we were able to rent scooters on site.
