Castival Hotel

Very good hotel, i love it. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect.

My daughter and I arrived after midnight to be greated with the night porter who did not speak English, we had booked a twin room but was given a small double bed room on the 6th floor with a broken toilet we had to listern to running water all night. The next day we moved to a twin room but there was a broken mug, a razor socket in the bathroom hanging off the wall and the bed line was dirty from a previous guest. When we complained to the rep we was told what do you expect this hotel has been closed all May due to health and safety reasons and it's up for sale they had to get all new staff. The food was hit and miss lot's of strange stews, Non of the food was labelled with ingredients with lot's of nuts and coconut on things you had to hope you did not have an allergy to anything. Some of the glasses and cutlery were dirty so you had to check everything. The swimmimg pools were nice and clean but the surrounding pools side was dangerous some of the drains were lose and the mats were turned up people kept tripping. If you wanted a drink from the bar the staff were cheerful but there was long queues and usually the German customers got served first. There were only four other English people in the hotel all had one or two problems but all commented how other non English guest were better treated. I know my review might upset someone but I've stayed there, which makes me wonder how some of the previous comments were given.

Some places become special not because of the rooms, but because of the emotions they leave in our hearts. Castival Hotel in Side, Manavgat, Antalya is one of those places for me. March last year was the first time I visited. Every time I return, I feel the same warmth and happiness. From the delicious and varied food to the impeccable service and genuine hospitality, everything is designed to make guests feel welcome. What makes this hotel truly memorable are the people. The staff’s kindness, smiles, and attention to every detail create an atmosphere that feels like coming home. As humans we return for the emotions, for the memories, and for the way people make us feel. Thank you, Castival Hotel, for giving us not just another holiday, but beautiful moments that we carry with us long after we leave.

We appreciate the kindness of the staff and the variations of food. Big pools are very nice and also late night dining is perfect as snacks!

Great hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it!

The entertainment team at this hotel is amazing! And "Baris" is the best. A very cool guy. He makes sure you have a lot of FUN!❤️

A nice hotel with nice facilities. It ends there. Just not enough facilities. 16 people in the queue to get a drink in the evenng. 15 people in the queue to get an ice cream which is only between 3 PM and 5 PM. The food is the same lunchtime and evening and everyday.I have had Turkish food before but this wasn't Turkish food. I cannot describe how bad the food is. A breakfast there is one toaster in this place has 600 rooms. You have to put the bread through five times before it starts to get any colour. Three coffee machines and you are lucky if ever they are all working. I don't think even the Turks have chips for breakfast except in this hotel.If you don't grab a sunbed around the poolby 9 o'clock, you won't gt one. The beach is dirty although there are plenty of sunbeds on the beach.The staff are very helpful and friendly but simply not enough bar staff. We found it cheaper to give the waiter five euros and he brought drinks all night. Don't try to change pool towels at the wrong time unless you want your head bitten off. The above is a synopsis of the experience. ENTERTAINMENT: And I have saved the best (but not the worst) to last. I wouldn’t call it entertainment. More like punishment. We were there for 2 weeks and it was the same both weeks, but just 6 nights per week. 2 of goes nights were “party night” which meant having a few drinks surrounded by some blowup dolls. Party was a complete misdescription, not that we wanted to party anyway. Few people attended so I don’t know why they bothered. So that left 4 nights. One night was a live singer with a band which was actually okay. Another night, why we would want to have seen traditional Brazilian dancing in Turkey, I have no idea. But that’s what we got. The other nights were even less memorable. There was acrobatics one night but we didn’t bother. We did go to have a look initially but it only lasted 35 minutes. The maximum of everything else, fortunately, was 45 minute which was probably the only saving grace about this “entertainment”. It soon finished would we go again? I think you can draw your own conclusion from the above.
