The king bed room was big and spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom had a great design and lots of space.
Temp was comfortable.
The hot tub was a great option after a day of skiing…although it could use a cleaning

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were 10 minutes away from the mountain and the price was perfect. Our only complaint which is complete personal preference was the bed was a little hard. Again that's personal preference.

Check out was at 11 but we got a knock on the door at 10:30 & 10:50 from a housekeeper. I told him we would be out at 11 yet we were still bombarded. We left the room at 11 and the housekeeper was waiting outside the door for the whole 30 mins we were trying to get our things together to leave.

Stayed on March 7, 2024. Only one car in the lot, yet at night we heard talking and laughing in other rooms around us. Young people stay there who work somewhere nearby. The room is dated and tv is small. So not worth the amount we paid, as I had to wear earplugs to get to sleep. Pothole in parking lot, and with only one car there, we should have known better. Cigarettes butts outside our door. Asked the front desk employee the next morning about the noise and lack of cars, and she rudely told me I should have asked to move to another area during the night. Diane

This is my second time staying at the Palmer House. It is a great affordable option. We stayed for a ski trip to Stratton with kids. Rooms are clean and renovated. Breakfast is simple motel style breakfast. There was some confusion at check in- but it was handled gracefully and we still got the room type we needed. The only thing I would say is that it's very easy to hear people who are outside the rooms. If you have a noisy group leaving early morning or arriving late at night and you are a light sleeper that night bother you.
