Several glaring issues here. First of all they entered my room without knocking. What if I had been a woman or had a child showering or changing clothes? What if I had been in an intimate situation? They do not provide do not Disturb Signs, after they tried to enter with out permission. They knocked on my door no less than 5 times to try and turnover the room even though I was staying another night. I told them I didn’t need service and was trying to sleep. I made it very clear not to attempt entry again. Then they started knocking AGAIN to install soap dispensers in the shower (because they’re too cheap for travel soaps and shampoo). I told them I needed to sleep but they insisted they come in and install them right then. This could have been done before after my stay. This hotel is in the middle of a renovation and in general a huge mess. No amount of repairs can fix the owners and employees complete incompetence and lack of basic hospitality protocols. They are completely inept at running even a low level cheap hotel, and from my experience this is an unsafe place to stay as evidenced by the staff’s borderline criminal lack of boundaries. Instead of remodeling spend that money on training yourselves in basic hospitality management. You can tell this place is cutting corners any way they can. They don’t even have cable, you get the free Samsung TV channels that come with the TV! Cheap to the point of self sabotage. Do Better!
