Mandurah Coastal Holiday Park

Great location close to boardwalk facilities, beach and shops. Very clean and well kept toilets, showers and laundry. Great bbq area. Loved the friendly staff and long term residents. Felt very safe. Myself and others had belongings left out overnight without issue. Park is doing ongoing upgrades and improvements and it shows. Would recommend.

We stayed for a week in our caravan in Mandurah coastal caravan park. The second night my husband's bike was stolen. Another property on site was entered and private material stolen. The site's security cameras have been given to the police together with our statement. Apparently this is an ongoing problem on this site although at no time were we advised of same, nor were any fellow campers. More recently my son has discovered two cards were removed from his car on site and used for transactions in the area on the same date.

This was probably our 7 or 8th stay at the caravan park, although our previous stays were all when it was known as the Belvedere. The location, cleanliness of the facilities, friendliness of all campers, the campers kitchen etc were all of the high standard we had come to know and expect. We were very pleased to see some new attractions for children (although we are way past or yet to have, need for that), the 'pillow' the large games etc all looked great and were in good use, once the heat of the sun had gone (a Shade sail or cover is planned, I believe). This was our first bay not at the town end of the park and we really enjoyed the breeze through the many trees and the family and familiar atmosphere up at that end. All round, we would definitely return despite the often discussed, amount of theft occurring. This is of course a concern, but I believe from conversations with other campers, it is unfortunately a increasing problem with many parks. We need to be vigilant, look out for one another and remember to secure, as best we can, any and all things of value. We had a powered, concrete stand site for our own caravan.
