It’s my 2nd time staying on Lyf Hotel (1st was on Melbourne), never dissapointed. Affordable rates (as we’re staying for 7 days), spacious room and bathroom (as we have 3 suitcases), all the staffs are friendly, bathroom has good water pressure on shower and also hot water. Smart TV came with Netflix and the wifi connection was good. Easy to get everywhere by Grab and public transport. Ther’s Starbucks next to the lobby. Walking distance to Korean Town and Robinson Mall. The hotel also has self-laundry (good for long-term stay). The only downgrade were only on breakfast option, for $25 for 2 person, the choice so standard (only 3-4 dishes). And no fridge on the room, which make hard if we want to have cold drinks/soft drinks on the room.

Lovely place, cozy vibe, reasonable price. One of the best option to balance your concern between budget and quality!

This is my favorite hotel in Manila because of Value for Money and their service especially if you are a regular they will really treat you like family. There is a Starbucks right on the ground level and they can also bring your food delivery to your hotel room if you ask nicely. The security is also strict which is good considering it is in the heart of Manila. Malate has a lot of good food options too especially Korean food because it is near a Koreatown. The room is pretty basic but it is clean and spacious and has everything you need.

I was amazed at how clean and trendy the hotel facilities were. However, I was also very disappointed. This morning, I woke up to a strange and strong sewer smell in my room. It was so unpleasant that I opened the door to ventilate the area, but as I was too tired, I fell back asleep. When I went down for breakfast, I felt dizzy and nauseous, as if I had inhaled gas for a long period of time. After breakfast, I reported the issue to the front desk, but since I was checking out that day, they did not seem particularly concerned. I wanted to visit a hospital, but I assumed the hotel would not take responsibility, so I endured it. Instead, I checked out early to get some fresh air, and after about an hour outside, I finally began to feel better. Since this issue is directly related to the health and safety of guests, I believe it should be addressed and resolved as soon as possible.

This is a wonderful find in Manila. The hotel is super clean, the rooms are rather large. It is also quite well noise insulated. However, it would be great if tea or coffee were provided in the room, as there’s a kettle. The location is ideal, 5 min walk to a mall and to a LRT Station to reach most spots of the city easily. It even has a Grab Food Locker to make ordering food even easier. Lastly, there’s is no provided cutlery nor dish soap in the common kitchen, which would be a perfect addition. Still, I would definitely recommend, it provides an amazing value.

I stayed in Manila, Philippines, and chose this hotel for a short staycation. It’s located in the Malate area, slightly on the outskirts of the city. From check-in until check-out, I was treated so nicely even though it’s a 3-star hotel, the service felt top-notch! 🏨 The staff, from the security guard to the front desk and housekeeping, were all super friendly and helpful. As you can see, the room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel facilities are impressive too there’s a rooftop area with a kitchen equipped with a fridge, waffle maker, oven, microwave, and other appliances. The rooftop view is beautiful, especially in the evening! 🌇 What surprised me the most was the free Sunday shuttle service to popular tourist spots such a thoughtful touch! The hotel also has a gym, game room, and some nice OOTD photo spots. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks as well, though I didn’t try them since I wasn’t sure if the food was halal. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here definitely not overclaimed! Will surely come back again.
