The pre-war feel of this hotel was preserved through the Spanish colonial period. The furniture resonated past vibes bringing us back to that era. Black and white pictures were laid out on tables in the restaurant, memories of the family’s history . Rooms were basic but clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the food especially the Calderetta which was cooked to perfection.
Location wise , the Malate area had lots of Filipino,Korean,Japanese and Spanish restaurants. We tried them all. Massage parlours and spas were sprawled everywhere. Pedicure and Manicure , get them done in Malate for the best rates. And the dentist in Malate offer the best services at amazing rates.
Entertainment wise, the live bands at Chill bar Bocobo , close to the hotel ,was phenomenal. For 4 nights we embraced true Filipino talent at the Chill bar with a different band on each night.
To conclude ,The Orchid garden suites was resonably priced and its location was the main reason why we chose it.

The property is nice! We enjoyed the pool and buffet breakfast. Parking slots are limited, though.
Staffs are helpful. We will definitely consider staying here again.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities including a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and Wi-Fi. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with toiletries. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night’s sleep. The view from the window added a nice touch. Staff were friendly and efficient during check-in and check-out. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for family, meron sila rooms that have many beds. Pero okay lang yung experience, from a stand point of i've been in many hotels. I would rate it 4 out of 10. As i've seen better hotels. Pero sulit dito pampamilya talaga saka malapit sa lahat ng places to visit sa manila.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, which made us feel welcome. The food at the restaurant was delicious—my mother and my niece really enjoyed their orders.
The hotel itself is a bit old, and the only issues we encountered were with the flush in the bathroom and the aircon, which was a little noisy but still tolerable. I also didn’t go swimming because the pool water was too cold for me.
Overall, it was still a pleasant experience, and if we need to stay in the Taft area again, we would be happy to go back to Orchid Garden.
