Budget Host Inn Manistique

Stayed here for a night,is under new management with cleaner rooms,friendly service,and new winter rates that beat any place around. Would recommend checking it out. Really had a nice stay. Good and peaceful area.

I was out of options until I stumbled upon this place. I should have kept stumbling. The room had a musty odor and the bed was not comfortable. As for noise, well I could hear everything that was occurring in the room next door including when they went to the bathroom, no sound barrier what so ever. I will say that the bathroom was very clean and the shower did have great water pressure. The price for the room was decent, but you do get what you pay for.

We have stayed here many times and I have referred my friends and family to stay here too. It is only a couple miles from town and it is peaceful. We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through or visiting Manistique!!

Booked a few nights here for a recent visit to the UP with my family and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and we got a very good price too - only $60 per night for a double. They are running a special until the end of July so we decided to come back and take advantage of it next month. The staff at the front desk told me about their family suite and took us down to check it out, recommending it might be more comfortable with our kids to have the added space and it will only be $90 per night. It's definitely worth it! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating with whatever we needed. We will definitely be back!

The rooms were clean and the rate was excellent. They said that they are having a seasonal rate until July 30,2022. I guess its $60.00 a night for a Queen or Double. And they have a large family suite that looks really cool for $90.00 a night. There is also a really neat looking room with a jacuzzi that is the "Honeymoon" suite that is $90.00 a night. I will definitely be back! BRINGING THE FAMILY!!!!!!!!! Thank you Budget Host Inn for a great stay!

We went for check in, and the lobby smelled like urine and spoiled milk. There was an elderly man staring at us, and a couple of shady looking people and out of the lobby. We wondered why nobody was there but these people that appeared they leaves there. There was only a van and a motorcycle outside. A very dirty looking young man and a woman with crazy red or purple hair just acting very odd like they were high on something. We got the heck out of there. We never checked in because we didn’t feel safe giving them out credit card.

When we first opened the door I thought we had made a mistake. The room smelt very musty. So we opened it up. That did the trick shortly after there was no smell at all. It's an older property and shows signs of age. It was very clean. I would stay again.

As they say, you pay for what you get. It's a simple room . The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff all were polite. The internet worked fine. Our room had a smoke alarm laying on a table. That seemed odd. I believe the add for the hotel said breakfast included. That means coffee and little rolls. We didn't need much anyway but it's good to know what you get.

Locked myself out of my room last night. We all make mistakes. Couldn’t receive any assistance until nearly check out time this morning. An older fellow inside waved me away despite my distress. I had to sleep in my freezing car, or at least attempt sleep (keys locked in room too) and bathroom in car too. Karen arrived at 8:45 am and immediately set to helping me. Everybody else there should move on, including the proprietors. Not even worth the paltry fee. Avoid at all costs.
