Villa Motel at Manitou Springs

This property is worthy of a return though I will be asking for a little softer mattress. The staff was very customer friendly, check in& out were very quick with a information packet received at check in. I did not partake in the breakfast, I chose to make the less than a mile walk to Red Dog coffee shop, it did not disappoint! The location isn't right in the middle of anything though you have amazing dining, shopping and experiences in both directions as well as a park& bus services right across the street! The rooms are spacious with microwave, fridge& Keurig in room. The hot water and water pressure were great also.

This is a fabulous motel. It has the perfect location. You have a very easy walk to downtown Manitou Springs and yet you can easily get to Colorado Springs because the hotel isn't in the busy area downtown. Right across the street is the free shuttle bus (number 33) that will take you to the Incline, Cog Train, etc. You can also drive right across the street and drive in the back way to Garden of the Gods and miss all the traffic. The location is so convenient, we grabbed a quick breakfast at 7:00 a.m., walked across the street to get the free shuttle at 7:20 a.m. and had tickets to go on the cog train at 8:40 a.m. We were there an hour before the train left. They have a wonderful continental breakfast in the morning with bagels, prepackaged danish, oatmeal, coffee, orange/apple juice and hot chocolate, Also, the coffee and hot cocoa are available all day. Breakfast was 7:00-9:30 a.m. The people who work here are so helpful. The young guy at the desk, Jordan? goes above and beyond giving ideas and feedback on things to see and do. We are spending five nights here, and it was a great decision to pick this motel. I should add that the rooms are very large, the beds are comfortable, and the fridge is larger than the typical mini fridge. The microwave and fridge look new. This hotel is a bargain!

Hotel was very quiet. We had neighbors, as we saw their cars. Never heard anyone. Extra bonus they shoveled, by hand, a path to our car doors!!! Our room was clean and large, and had a big tv. Shower hot and cold was touchy when someone flushed. Definitely stay here again!!!
