Magnuson Hotel Manitou Springs

Chill & quiet. Except the road right outside. If u need to sleep in u may bring ears buds & play white noise. We had the option to have trash taken out, towels brought new & beds made each day. Good water pressure, TV, fridge. Really needed microwave, but I’m not going to take away a star for that. I think if we go back, we’ll stay there. $430 for 3 nights with indoor pool & hot tub! 1 side faces the mountains so I called & asked for a room with balcony facing mountains. They were happy to make that happen! Plus the biggest surprise benefit was the pizza place next-door, calzone you have to! Lol. A liquor store, if you like to have your drinks across street next door to a Subway (which is great in case the downtown restaurants are full like when we stayed). I feel like I have to say this at least Sam’s pancake house get there before eight and enjoy the best breakfast! Location of Tava was so close to attractions we wanted to see. 5min? garden of the gods, cave of the winds 10 min…about 30 min away may look up Helen Hunt Falls. Worth it! 2 out of 3 of these things are free. Enjoy Colorado. I’m so glad to be home, but I had such a great time.

Was a last minute booking and glad we did. Room was clean and towels were soft and clean. We stayed 3 nights. Close to Pikes Peak Rail and Garden of the Gods. Easy access. Breakfast was minimal but good. Pool area was clean.

Pros:We enjoyed the quietness of the room, the air conditioner that was a consistent hum while sleeping. Parking right out front is so convenient. The pool and Jacuzzi were wonderful after a long hike. The staff was very nice and helpful in every way. Cons: the office is only open until 10:30 PM. If you book through anyone but the hotel, they cannot reach you to warn you or provide you with a key after hours. We learned that the hard way. No microwave in the room. Not really a big deal because the lobby was so close and the breakfast bar had a microwave that was available while the office was open. Overall, it was a very nice pleasant stay and I would recommend.

We had a wonderful experience after a long long moving trip to our new home here in Manitou Springs! Which brings me the pleasure of explaining why , the hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming... they allowed us to park our moving trucks and trailers on the property which to us was essential and very accommodating on their part. Ps. The jacuzzi was amazing as was the heated indoor pool!

Super clean room, quiet, staff was friendly and helpful. The price was perfect and included WiFi and a basic continental breakfast. Jack's Liquors is across the street. This motel is 0.5 mile from SunWater Spa, 1 mile from downtown and a 10 minute walk to Uncle Sam's Pancake house. You can't ask for a better weekend.

Great weekend stay! Staff was helpful and place was clean and close to downtown and Cog Rail. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The room is very spacious and the staff was amazing. Pool and hot tub are a definite bonus. Property was clean as a whistle. Definitely coming back.

For the cost of the room, I was super impressed with the higher quality towels. The towels were not the tiny, thin, cheap towels most "lower" cost motels have. Their towels were thick & soft. Room was clean, bath was clean. Good TP, not 1-ply super thin!! Front desk persons were friendly. great location with shuttle right across the street or a nice walk into main part of town.

The hot tub was warm but the pool was a little cold. Clean room! Decent beds.
