Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mankato

DO NOT GO HERE! I booked this through *******. I was given a handicap room with walk-in shower. I did NOT book this handicap room. There were no extra towels and the room was FREEZING. I turned up the heat and left the room for 2 hours and upon my return was still FREEZING. I complained to the manager, who was a foreigner who spoke very little English. He checked on the heater and couldn't fix it. He offered a space heater which I refused. We were told to leave immediately if we were going to cancel the room. I wanted a refund but he said I had to go through *******. VERY DISAPPOINTED! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

I had the pleasure to meet the owner and his family at this wonderful establishment. They were very accomodating! Super friendly and nice.

Slippery parking lot no salt out, beds not made each day, supplies not replaced in room. Garbage not emptied.

The bathroom was dirty. the facial tissue box was empty when we arrived. The tub/shower had a dirt ring. The toilet was not wiped down behind the seat where the seat mounts to the bowl. it had dirt and hair on it when we arrived.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. When we opened our curtains there was an old dirty sock laying there… the bathroom still had urine around the toilet. But the rest of the room was clean and orderly. The major issue is breakfast was beyond substandard. Old stale beard, stale cereal and bad milk…

Room was hot, place was noisy, looked like the employees were using the place for their residence

Torn carpet, walls that had huge , unrepaired dents. Light bars over the beds; broken grids, 1\3 of bulbs not working. Bed skirts torn. Sheets so old that they were almost worn through where people sit and sleep. Refrigerator ran so loud we had to unplug it at night. We had a reservation for three but only hadtw towels in bathroom. Remote batteries not working and desk clerk did not want to change themtwo towels in thein

First room had hair and urine on bathroom toilet and floor. Staff was annoyed with us about and begrudgingly

Parking was good. Breakfast is very limited. My room came with a coffee pot, but no coffee. Mirror was very dirty from when others brushed their teeth. Every night i had to go down to get my room key reset as it wouldn't work. Bed was veey comfortable but the room hadn't been vacuumed before check in
