In occasione di un viaggio di piacere a Chieti, abbiamo prenotato in questo albergo, molto comodo per raggiungere a piedi il centro storico, una autentica bomboniera. La struttura è molto confortevole, dotta di tutti i comfort di un grande albergo, con un terrazzino a livello da cui si domina la piana sottostante. Accetta tutte le principale carte di credito e/o debito ed accetta anche i ns. amici a quattro zampe, dotato di garage e di posti all'esterno custoditi. Abbiamo soggiornato comodamente e penso che ci ritorneremo.

The time machine must have stopped in 1950/1960 in this structure, it seems to have been catapulted into another era. A cross between vintage, kitsch and retro. I don't know if it is appropriate to call the Municipality, as some claim, but what is certain is that the word old is rather reductive. Obsolete and dusty, full of carpet, not suitable for families as it is not equipped with cots, it has remained there since it was created! The restaurant does not serve the courses offered on the menu but only two courses of the day, they do not serve bread or condiments and have no desserts, we ate with the children in our arms as they do not have high chairs, in short it could even close!!

finally a hotel with proper beds! It's a bit of a "time machine" with a return to the Seventies, at any moment I expect to see Renzo Montagnani, Ugo Tognazzi come out and what's more there is a breathtaking view from the Popoli gorges, to the Gran Sasso to the Adriatic. Fair price.

The hotel is shabby but clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant is awful. There is no menu and one of our meals consisted of a frozen, breaded processed chicken patty with luke warm frozen french fries. The morning breakfast is plain but o.k. Coffee and plain croissants.

Dirty, smelly hotel (my room stank of cigarettes to die for) but it's good that you tell First we pay the morning after the first night (we stayed for two) 75.00 euros per double room with breakfast included and it seemed strange to us but it had the his reason. We go out to visit the very nice museum of Chieti and when we come back the rooms are not done and they won't make them because when asked the owner replies: "it's not his fault (that is, mine! 😡) but he can't find staff, therefore also towels not changed. the next day breakfast consisted of burnt croissants served with a napkin without a plate. I hope that the municipality of Chieti reads this review because tourists no longer come here
