Selina Manuel Antonio

La struttura è molto carina, la posizione comoda, pulizia e natura incantevoli. Purtroppo una brutta esperienza ci ha fatto toccare con mano quanto lo staff e il mamagement di questo posto e di questa catena siano pessimi. Durante la seconda notte in stanza privata abbiamo subito un'irruzione in camera, con molta probabilità un tentativo di rapina, per fortuna fallito solo perché la persona che ha scassinato la porta è corso via dopo averci trovato svegli. L'assistenza dello staff in questa situazione è stata indecente: non sono stati in grado di spiegarci come fosse stato possibile per un estraneo accedere ad una camera la cui serratura è gestita con un codice digitale e le loro risposte sono state vaghe, distratte e sminuenti verso lo spavento che ci ha visto coinvolti. Abbiamo deciso di portare il problema ad un livello più alto contattando il management dell'assistenza clienti che non ci ha risarcito, non ci ha chiarito la situazione e anzi, ci ha indirettamente accusato di esserci "sognati" o, peggio, inventati tutto. Esperienza orribile che ci ha fatto sentire non al sicuro e presi in giro. Non metteremo mai più piede in una struttura Selina e ci sentiamo di sconsigliarlo vivamente.

This hotel has a large, very pretty and flowery complex. The surrounding landscapes are magnificent, there are even monkeys who come to say hello to us at breakfast, incredible! When we arrived, we were upgraded without asking, so pretty cool. The room with its double bed and bathroom was certainly small but we only slept there and the air conditioning worked very well so that's the main thing! The hotel swimming pool is nice but the water was too hot. It is possible to eat or have lunch at the hotel restaurant but I do not recommend it because the prices are quite high. There are very good restaurants nearby (e.g. the plane). If you like to party, you are in the right place, welcome cocktail, DJ evening etc. Also possible to do lots of other activities in this Selina. Its location is great because it is only 10 minutes by bus from Manuel Antonio National Park.

This hostel really was a total disappoin**ent. I've stayed at several Selinas around the world and never had a worse stay than this one. Of the 3 nights I stayed, 2 nights there was no air conditioning in the room for 8 people, so the humidity and heat made it impossible to rest. Added to this are the parties until 3 in the morning with the very high volume that made the walls resonate. The cleaning of the rooms is non-existent. They don't clean them until you leave. The people at the reception have a very bad disposition. Costa Rica is a beautiful country full of friendly people, but they are not exactly found in this hostel. I made the corresponding complaints on the page and I am waiting for answers because they did not offer me the service for which I paid.

The room was requested to be cleaned and it was never done, in the main pool there was a piece of concrete from the same pool that fell off.
