Wyndham Hotels in Maoming

I went there because despite being far from everything, I don´t mind if it´s a nice place. I was lured by the nice pics with the blue sea, but what I found was disappointing, very calm, yes and so closed to the beach that you can hear the sea from the room. that I loved. What I didn't like much was that the water was brown-ish, I didn´t even dare to get in there. As for the hotel, first the good thing: LEO in the front desk went far and beyond to help me with my requirements, really seemed like the only person there willing to help customers. The room was clean, with a nice view and comfortable bed. The hotel has a pretty floating church where you can take nice pictures, it[s popular for weddings as I could evidence. Now, the not so good: Service wasn't as nice as you would expect for the price they charge; besides LEO, as I already mentioned, and the nice lady at the entrance of the restaurant, the rest of the staff was rather uninterested and unpolite. I went to the swimming pool the first day and there weren't any towels available. I asked one of the guys there (as of today I don't know what they were doing besides sitting on a chair and spitting all afternoon) if they could get me a towel and they told me I had to go to the front desk to get one...it was a 10 min walk from the swimming pool). I asked also the lady in the little convenience store next to the pool and the answer was the same. I went, asked LEO, he apologized and got me a towel (took them 10 mins to get a clean towel for me) and I finally could go. Breakfast buffet is mostly Chinese, and so is all in the hotel, mostly for Chinese couples who want to take nice pictures... I don't know what I was expecting, I though I would find a more foreigner-friendly environment, but I still have to learn to lower my expectations.

酒店很新，房間寬敞整潔，我們晚上到的，地下車庫很方便，電梯直接上大堂。值班經理業務能力效率都很ok。 説下不太滿意的地方，拼裝水在這裏感覺很珍貴，我們六個人，三張2m床，這個配置沒有問題吧，房間兩瓶水當然是有點欠缺的，我們兩間房打電話過去房務中心拿水，那邊都要強調一遍“我們房間衹贈送兩瓶水”然後才讓人送過來。在路上遇到阿姨，找阿姨拿水，她們還沒有權限，一定要先通過前台，才能拿到水，這一點我是有點難以理解的。 再者就是早餐，訂酒店的時候一個房間配了兩份，那我們差了兩份嘛，經理很熱情給我們送了一份，看了身份證，我弟是小孩子，到時可以直接進去，然後我們就沒再理會了。但是第二天我們一家人去吃早餐，守餐廳門口的那位女工作人員，説我弟太高了不可以進去，我們解釋了，然後還通電話過去，人家經理説可以，但是她還不鬆口，最後我們就補票進去，這其實不是一張飯票的問題，這很影響我們出門的心情，也不是説強制要送，這玩意兒也不太值錢，既然我們出門選擇了你們，説明我們對你們酒店品牌的信任，建議內部可以協調好各方面的彈性原則，能花錢到這裏住，就不差那一瓶水和一頓早餐，希望你們也可以拿出相符的服務態度和品質，謝謝。 btw 健身房也有點噱頭成分。
