The bed wasn't very supportive woke up sore. Our room (323) had a door in the wall that went to another room. You could hear everything they did. Cracker Barrel parking lot the noise never stopped.

The hostess caught me off guard with her smile, charm, and laughter. I forgot her name, but she was the golden star of my travels back to the west coast. I should have chatted her up more as she seemed playful and fun. I had just gotten off the road after 13 hours of driving and zoned out and wiped. The hotel was great, but she made me at ease with her joyous demeanor represented the hotel in a way that is lost these days.

There was no carpet in rhe rooms - only tile. Plastic chairs. Sheets and mattress pad kept coming off the bed. AC/Heating not central but has a room unit. It was very loud. Very little insulation - could hear everything that happened in adjoining room and hallway. Close to interstate and train tracks. Loud traffic sounds. Food at free breakfast fair to average - apples looked very old. No other fresh fruit.

I am staying here for 9 nights. So far, it has been three. The first 2 nights the people in the adjoining room both talked & had the TV on VERY loud until 1:00 and then 2:00 AM. Even with earplugs in, and a towel at the bottom of the door to the adjoining room (to try & drown out some of the noise) I could not sleep until they went to bed. I figured it was no sense asking for a new room since I am sure the hotel is built the same in all rooms. Thankfully, the third night, the couple in the adjoining room was quiet & did not even turn on the TV until the next morning. That aside, the room is very comfortable, and the staff are all very kind, informative & respectful. The complimentary breakfast is good, but they only have delicious (variety) apples for their fruit offering. I bring my own fresh strawberries & blueberries from a nearby Walmart to breakfast. I do not expect them to provide fresh fruit that costs a lot more. Just a heads up for those who love fruit in the morning.

Bathrooms are pretty dirty and outdated. I was not comfortable using the shower since it was full of stains.

Disappointed in the cleanliness of this room. The bed was sagging on one side. The floor hadn’t been mopped in some time. We won’t be back.
