Marari Blue Waves

Stunning location right by the beach very peaceful and beautiful birds, flora and fauna. Spacious apartment with bathroom and balcony. Very friendly family run this home stay with mum doing cooking, her food is amazing, the best I’ve had in India, having been there more than a dozen times. Rahul is very helpful and arranged for us to stay on a houseboat for a night, he also arranged taxi to Alappuzha when needed.

Excellent little homestay. The best thing about it: Rahul and his family. They were brilliant. Whatever we wanted they went out of their way to get it (beer, climbing trees to get us coconut milk/boats/deck-chairs/umbrellas). If they didn't have it, they'd obtain it. Our room on the first floor was very clean and very spacious. And has its own huge outside dining area. Excellent wifi and A/C and roof fans, inside and out. Highly recommendable.

Location and food, both excellent. Rahul and his mother and wife took the best care of us. Location is great, we can see the sea from our balcony. Stay away from extasy shack. We have a nasty food experience.

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at the Marari Blue Waves Homestay. The host Rahul and his family were warm and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds, clean linens, and ample space to relax and unwind. The homestay is located just a short walk away from the beautiful Marari Beach, and we had a nice private beach time which my little kids cherish a lot. The food was delicious, and freshly made and had the nice homely flavours of Kerala. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in Kerala.

Excellent property located literally a stone’s throw away from the beach. Basic clean rooms with wifi and AC. Rahul, the host is a gem of a person. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and provided us with whatever was necessary for us. Being vegetarians, eating out was a bit of problem for us. But Rahul and his entire family cooked us delicious vegetarian meals everytime and was more than willing to travel 6-7 kms to get vegetarian food for us from a restaurant. He made us feel a part of his family and welcomed us into his house, which is exactly what we expect from a homestay, the warmth of a home. Rahul can communicate well in English, Malayalam and Tamil. Will definitely recommend you to book your stay with them. If you are planning a trip to Mararikulam stay with them for atleast a couple of nights to experience their warmth and love.
