Juwel hinterm Blechzaun.
Vorab: wir hatten wirklich tolle 5 Tage bei absolutem Top-Service in einem geschmackvollem geräumigen Keralabungalow. Wir hatten einen Beachbungalow gebucht, um durch die Palmen von unserer Terrasse in Richtung Strand zu schauen. Das war leider nicht möglich, da ein Blechzaun die Sicht auf den Strand verhindert. Hinter dem Zaun beginnt nach 50 Metern die Rückseite eine Kette von kleinen Geschäften und Imbissen für die Locals. So sieht es dort leider auch aus - es liegt sehr viel Müll herum, der Strand ist von Einheimischen und Fischern gut besucht. Das Treiben hat durchaus seinen Reiz, morgens um 7:00 gibt es eine kleine Fischauktion. Geht *** 200 Meter weiter nach links oder rechts, kann *** kilometerweit am schönen Naturstrand spazieren gehen und der Müll wird deutlich weniger. Am Strand beim Hotel gibt es Sonnenschirme mit Plastikstülen oder einfache Liegen zu buchen. Auf der großen Terrasse der Bungalows sind bequeme Liegen und Stühle, Blick auf den Zaun und einigen schönen Pflanzen oder bei den anderen Bungalows, Blick auf die Nachbarbungalows. Zwei mal täglich kommt der Koch, um Wünsche zum Lunch und Dinner entgegenzunehmen- das wird dann frisch eingekauft und abends auf der privaten Terrasse serviert- immer absolut lecker. Es gibt noch einen kleinen Garten mit einem grossen Pool und bequemen Liegen.
Fazit: Wer ein Hotel in beschaulicher Beachlage sucht , ist hier falsch. Wer gehobenen Service in einer privaten Gartenatmosphäre wünscht, wird hier fündig.

The villa was so cosy and confortable, the staff very kind and helpful, the food excellent and the location perfect, the beach is not even 5 minute walk. We recommend! We haven’t tried the swimming pool due to lack of time, but it looked very clean and well maintained.

Magnifique séjour dans une villa privative et repas servis sur la véranda. Situation exceptionnelle près de la plage mais au calme. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable et le cuisinier talentueux avec chaque jour des plats indiens délicieusement préparés. À recommander !

Sehr kleine individuelle Anlage mit nur 4 schönen Bungalows. Drei Minuten zum Strand. Sehr gutes Frühstück, welches auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert wird. Bei Bedarf auch lunch und Dinner. Dem Koch kann *** seine Wünsche äußern und er macht dies.

A wonderfully indulgent stay, with the villa space well proportioned and a wonderful walk in shower. The facilities were great and the staff helpful and supportive. Chef visited every day to take our breakfast and dinner order and the food was superb. We took away a recipe for a particularly flavoursome dhal and have enjoyed a reminder of our stay by making it at home. The complex is positioned close to the beach and the town which has some great restaurants. It was a lovely relaxing stay and having a pool on site was a big plus.

This place is a hidden gem of Allappey that is nicely tucked away in the local town of mararikulam just steps away from the pristine and secluded Marari beach. This place is full of lush green tropical plants and colorful flowers. Butterflies call this place home as well. The pool is pristine with beautiful statues of Indian gods and goddesses. Will make you feel like a royal. Staff was wonderful. Much thanks to Mr. Deepu, Dominic, Shailan and Arun for making our stay beyond enjoyable. Definitely coming back here.

A most amazing place as close to the vast, white sandy beach as you can get, yet exotically set amongst the palm and banana trees. Just four villas are here each with their own personality - we had Nagaswarma - a large private terrace and access to the beautiful large pool nestled into the lush gardens. The chef takes your order for the evening meal and delivers your fabulous meal on your terrace making the whole experience private and personal. This was our final stay in India having travelled around the country over the previous three weeks. This was undoubtedly the best place we stayed in throughout our trip and wouldn’t hesitate to return should we be lucky enough to visit Kerala again. As we watched the sun go down on our last night here (yes, fabulous sunsets too), I am so grateful that we found A Beach Symphony as magical as its name!

Imagine waking up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoying breathtaking views just steps away from your door. Beach site cottages offer a blend of comfort, privacy, and close proximity to the ocean that hotels often can’t match and we had a private pool cherry on the top. The cottages often come fully furnished, with cozy interiors and essential amenities for a home-away-from-home feel. Many include private porch where you can soak up the sun, read a book, or enjoy meals with surrounding nature. Plus, being near the beach means easy access to activities like swimming, beachcombing, or simply relaxing on the shore. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway or a family vacation, a beach site cottage is an ideal choice for creating memorable, relaxing experiences close to nature. Service is excellent , staff is friendly and accommodating. chef personally comes to for you meal requests. We loved this place so much, definitely visiting again.
