Hotels in Marathon

"We were here for two nights. We took two rooms for two with our daughter. The hotel is not new, but everything is great. Friendly staff. They will prompt and tell you everything. Not noisy, cozy. The hotel is somewhere between child-free and family-run. On our visit, probably about 80-90% were French. The housing itself feels like the style is hello my 90s, but!!! The room is clean, tidy, it’s clear that renovation was done not so long ago. The food is absolutely great!!! In general, the hotel evoked only positive emotions. There were also 7* hotels, pretentious ones, but here you can really relax, without stress. Sea, silence, food - Turks relax with a similar hotel style. I hope that if the concept doesn’t change, then when I’m in Athens, I’ll definitely stay here."

"Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Thomas Beach, ideal für einen Kurztrip in die Nähe von Athen. Es gibt viele schönes Restaurants in der Gegend. Das Personal ist mega sympathisch. Ich empfehle einen Ausflug nach Marathon in das archäologische Museum (klein aber fein) und die Beachchlubs in der Nähe"

"酒店環境非常好，早餐也不錯。海景漂亮，周邊有很多餐廳，我們選擇了海邊一家，價格比雅典市區或其他旅遊區都要實惠，是希臘執行最實惠的一餐。酒店規模不小，就是停車場在馬路對面，不太方便。房間略顯陳舊，但是該有的都有，整體設施挺好的，關鍵是海景漂亮，性價比不錯的。離機場也不遠，適合我們第二天趕飛機。"

"George is very good, a detached house, and orange and lemon trees to eat at will. There is a parking space outside the door. Quiet, safe, comfortable and warm. More than ten minutes drive from the marathon site, there are also Olympic kayaking venues, seaside baths, and Marathon Lake nearby."

"1. Love it clean, quiet, quiant, side view of sea and port or small marina (can't tell at night because we checked in late night and left very early the next morning). But lovely. Wish had time to walk. 2. Clean room. 3. When we arrived and saw the dinner buffet which looked good, regretted not getting the half board. But we ordered from their restaurant a la carte menu and it was delicious! 4. One thing to improve is to cover the light on the aircon and the light on the TV, we could find no way to switch off the TV. We are light sleepers so the light which may not disturb others disturbed us a little bit but we put black tape over the TV but could not climb high up to aircon. 5. Too bad we did not have time to use gym or have breakfast there - another regret but front desk Evi helped arrange a breakfast bag for us to take away. If you're checking out early like us, ask for breakfast bags to take away and they gladly oblige. However, food in the breakfast bag is not as nice as having breakfast in the hotel :( I saw none of the items reviewers talked about but I told myself it is ok because they packed before breakfast hours. To get our money's worth, I must eat their breakfast in future."

"The room is big enough but again, the shower is TINY! All the water comes out and the space is super reduced. There aren’t many places around so the food in the restaurant is pricey. The hotel staff super friendly but I guess the restaurant staff is different and independent, not same service. You can enjoy de view and recommend it for a break. The swimming pool water is from de sea, not sure how good it was for swimming."

"The hotel is close to the sea, the scenery is very good, the surrounding area is a living area, the life atmosphere is very heavy and I like it very much. The suite is set, the room is large, the view is also very good, very satisfied with the experience of staying. It is not very far from the airport, very convenient and very cost-effective."
