Hotel is well cared for, and there's an endless array of things to do / places to eat, even if only staying within the Puente Romano complex. That said, the beach / water in Marbella is generally not attractive, so you're coming here for the a**osphere, in my opinion. As many other reviews note, this resort is loud, making sleep very challenging. Puente Romano is large, but the Nobu rooms are mostly centered around La Plaza which is *incredibly* loud until 3 am. We moved rooms once but that did not solve the issue. Nobu is great for going out but not for being able to rest after. . .
