As a family of four (children 3+6) we stayed in a deluxe tent for almost 8 days. Please note: there is a shower, but a toilet is NOT automatically included. However, you can easily book a camping toilet and that solved this (very important for us) issue. Otherwise, there is a toilet facility not far from the tent, which was very well maintained by the way! There is a kitchenette in the tent - you cook on gas. All utensils (pots, cutlery, dishes) are available. You can also borrow a charcoal grill from Sunflower Camping for free. There is almost no storage space in the tent such as wardrobes, which was fine for us - we just lived out of suitcases. There were 2 bedrooms - one with a bunk bed for our children and a parent's bed. Bed linen and a set of towels were included and clean. In front of the tent is a terrace with a small table and a seating area. There was also a clothes rack and there was also a laundromat on site - if you ever had a drum of laundry to do (for a fee). On the subject of noise - it is a campsite and, as everywhere in life, there are considerate people and those who don't care. We were lucky here, but you could hear the band from the beach bar until 10pm, then it was quiet. There is a small supermarket and a bakery on the site - we preferred to go shopping outside the site because there was simply more choice. There is also a children's playground, children's pool, normal pools. You can book sunbeds for a fee, but it is not necessary as there are good places in the shade, for example by the children's pool. Excursions by car: Novigrad (from the campsite you can also take a train to Novigrad - every half hour until midnight, costs 50 kuna one way for 2 adults and 2 children), Porec (the boat trips to dolphin excursions are highly recommended - can be booked directly at the harbour), Rovinj, Pula or Trieste (approx. 1 hour 10 minutes away). Tip for car excursions: take change with you for the parking meters!! Another well-meaning piece of advice: it's best to change your money into kuna at home. Some A**s charge high fees and the exchange rate is ridiculous. By the way, a big thank you to Mr Dusan from Sunflower Camping - he looked after us really well on site!
