This was a perfect place to stay in Margaret River. Right next to the Brewery (which was a fabulous place for a drink and a feed) and easy walking distance to the centre of town. The accommodation was clean and picturesque with beautiful birds keeping us company while relaxed on the balcony.

What a great place to stay in Margaret River. Spacious room, big and comfortable king bed, beautiful surrounds, great breakfast included, ample parking, close to town but quiet and a lovely brew house next door that serves great meals. The place has a quaint and tranquil feel being nestled in among the trees but the wifi is still strong. A great place to base yourself in the region at a good value price.

What a great location to explore the Margaret River region. We had 3 nights here and wished we had longer there! The lodge is really convenient for walking into the bustling town - just 10-15 mins- with plenty of options for eating out. The Brewhouse is just next door less than 5 mins walk. Lovely, friendly staff running the lodge and breakfast was great with lots of choices of local produce.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting from Canada in early 2024 and it was the perfect location for our visit to the area. It's clear that the Lodge's hosts, Helen and Terry, take pride in welcoming guests and helping them make the most of their time in and around Margaret River. With walkable restaurants and bars and easy drives to caves, beaches, scenic views and more, this was ideally located. The daily breakfast with pastries, muffins, breads and spreads, yogurt, fruit and more made for a great start to each day. We had a wonderful visit here.

Wonderful accommodation. We had a great size room, with kettle, fridge and microwave. Fantastic spa bath in the room added to a wonderful two night stay. Michelle checked us in and was super friendly and helpful. Giving us directions for local walks and restaurants in town. There is a great Brew House next door, less than 10 minute walk into town. Good selection of different restaurants and bars in town. The continental breakfast selection was exceptional. A selection of yoghurts, fresh chopped fruits, some cheeses, pastries, cereals and different breads. Great coffee from the machine. We would certainly recommend and return.

We loved the Heritage Trail Lodge but made only a fleeting visit arriving late in the afternoon and needing to leave early the following morning. The rooms are huge and everything was perfect. The gardens are full of colour and beautifully kept and whilst the busy road was close by, it still felt like we were in the forest. Breakfast was lovely using fresh local produce wherever possible. Don’t make our mistake and only stay for one night. There is so much to do and see in the locality even two nights is probably not long enough. Would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful tranquil place to stay. Beds are super comfortable, rooms are spacious and light and the owner is extremely helpful. The breakfast was awesome. It is located next to a fabulous dinner place at the micro brewery. Walking distance to town.

Spacious room, very comfortable bed, all the amenities you could require. The Lodge is situated through the bushes to the Brewhouse and we spent an enjoyable evening there. Spent 2 nights and would return to stay again. Great breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Great experience.
