Wir waren das erste mal hier und wurden gleich zu Anfang sehr freundlich begrüßt, parken kann man hier nicht, es sind allerdings öffentliche Parkplätze gleich in der Nähe , die man kostenlos nutzen kann. Wir konnten unseren Hund problemlos mitnehmen, wir hatten Halbpension, Frühstück top, Abendessen war ebenfalls sehr gut, das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich, einen extra Lob möchten wir unserem Tischkellner Aleksander (hoffe es ist richtig geschrieben) aussprechen, er war wirklich top. Wir hatten das Zimmer Lifestyle, es war schön und sauber. Der einzige Punkt, den wir kritisieren und weswegen ich einen Punkt abziehe ist der Liegebereich am Pool, der so gar nicht zum restlichen sauberen und modernen Stil des Hotels passt. Die 3 Holzliegen sind desolat, eine ist überhaupt zusammen gebrochen, man geht auf billigem Kunstrasen und in dem Schlurf zwischen Hotelzimmern und Kirchenmauern haben wir uns gar nicht wohl gefühlt und sind deswegen bereits nach wenigen Minuten wieder gegangen. Der Bereich wirkt leider alles andere als als einladend , ansonsten gutes Hotel.

The Eder Hotel gets better every year. The location, ambience and decor are all exceptional. We have just had a fantastic stay with our boys celebrating a special birthday. Sepp and his wonderful family made it an extremely memorable day. The whole staff team go above and beyond, the service and hospitality is amazing. In particular Simon who served us at dinner, the girls at breakfast who were super smiley and friendly and the omelette chef were all outstanding also Monica who serviced our room to a very high standard of cleanliness. Thank you Team Eder! We will be back!

We had been to Maria Alm before and we really liked the place. The first time we stayed in a hotel in the same price category, so we have a comparison. We became aware of this traditional hotel through the program "Hotel Legends" and had corresponding expectations. The program gave the impression that it was a must to stay in the Schwaiger family's establishments. However, we discovered that the price-performance ratio was disproportionate. We booked the most expensive room (Gipfelstürmer), which was unfortunately quite small and the view (into the other stairwell) was not really appealing for the price segment. We traveled with our dog and paid €15 per day for him, which is absolutely fine. However, we missed bowls or other goodies that you usually get in other hotels. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the hotel does not rely on regional products for breakfast, which we find very unfortunate. It seemed to us as if the products such as sausage or cheese were bought pre-cut from the refrigerated section. However, the hotel impresses with its rustic style and we really liked that. We will definitely visit Maria Alm again, but we will stay in a hotel that convinces us in terms of value for money.

Cooming for 5 days off ... and we've qucikly extended for couple of more days ... Sepp family is running this exciting hotel and whole team in a way that we felt as being with long years friends right after getting if for checking ... and this feeling has not disappeared after leaving. Maria Alm is nice, quiet city and there is a lot of places where to gou around.... Hotel itself is superb, very convenient, friendly, clean, super comfortable... great apartment Glossglockner with nice view and built-in sauna .... absolutelly great spa and saunas in the hotel, outdoor and inner (connected) pool, gym, .... do you need more? Yes ... food ... ;) Super rich breakfasts, and outstanding food for dinners ... simply 5 out of 5 .... supported by great friendly attentive service ... Dog friendly .. we've been there with our 2 Westies, and they enjoyed stay as well ;) Cannot wait to be back again in few months from now... and even for longer stay than just one week

Gewoon even binnengelopen voorbeurs te drinken in het regenachtige Maria Alm. Wat een verrassing was dit !! Mooie winterkamer waar we konden zitten met een fantastische stoel voor de kinderen. Ook nog even verder binnen gekeken in dit hotel, ziet er echt top uit.

The Hotel Eder has a very charming location, in the middle of Maria Alm and surrounded by small shops, bars and beer gardens. The cozy impression on the outside continues on the inside, traditional but by no means old-fashioned. The staff is more than friendly, check-in is uncomplicated and quick. The rooms are very spacious and also cozy. The pool area is rather small, but creatively and wittily embedded "between the restaurant and the church wall" - really worth seeing. The breakfast buffet is extensive, perhaps one or two other dishes could be added. I tried the Eder Hotel both in winter for skiing and in summer for biking and can recommend it without reservation!
