This is our go to place for our annual staycation during the summer. It's a wonderful resort. They have wonderful pools. They also have an "adult only" pool if you want to relax away from the kiddos. To add to our wonderful experience was the Bird Man from Liberty Wildlife. On the 4th of July he had Aurora, a huge beautiful female bald eagle. You are able to take a picture with Aurora and as she is lifted up behind you she spreads her gorgeous wings! On other days he might have a hawk or an owl. The live band in the pm was fun too! The picture I posted here of the Bird Man is from Google. The eagle he is with is beautiful, but not Aurora. 💜

I was very disappointed with the hotel. It was in a run down condition. There seems to be construction going on in the pool area. The fountains were totally turned off. The carpets looked dirty and old, so were the showers.
Too expensive for the condition it’s in.

Got a bunch of extra charges. Tried calling multiple times. Sat on hold for a mover 1 hour and never got a call back.

Our recent visit was definitely not worth the cost. We had to dodge dust, debris, workers (sometimes yelling at each other) and elevators that did not work most of the time. The jack hammering was overheard through a work phone call and was constant during the day. Our room had dust floating through the air and on the mirrors. It just wasn't as relaxing as it should be. However, the pool was a nice getaway from the room/hotel area. I'm sure it will be wonderful once all done, but we would suggest waiting until the renovation is complete!

It is a nice resort. It will be better when the construction ends. The food is average. Not a lot of choices on the menu.

This was my first time to Scottsdale and this resort is awesome. It is currently going renovations so I can’t wait to come back after renovations. However, the golf course and pool area are top notch!! I highly recommend visiting here. You can feel like you are a resort in Mexico while not having to travel that far! Love it!

The Hyatt at Gainey Ranch is gorgeous. The rooms are so lovely and newly renovated. Comfiest beds ever! The pool area has amble space for all guest. Great location, very central.
