What not to like? The lodge is located in a stunning setting and well organized. Great sundowner tour with animal sighting and drinks, well thought-through breakfast and dinner buffet with ample options including for vegetarians. Could do a little better for fresh juices. Friendly and efficient staff. When a morning game drive was apparently forgotten we had a replacement organized within minutes. Great rooms with spectacular view. Recommended.

We booked this through Expert Africa and it was a great stay. The room was gorgeous and faced out to the savannah and watering hole. The sundowner game drive was so worth doing. The guide was so knowledgeable and she was passionate about the animals - he said this was her dream job and it showed. In one night, we saw Eland, Oryx, wildebeest, zebra, springbok, ostriches, kudu, weaver bird nests and marabou storks. The meals were fine and the pool was a little aged, but overall it was an amazing stay.

Really great lodge. Very well looked after, really nice common areas and also comfortable rooms. Very good and varied food, the restaurant is large and has a beautiful terrace where it is really pleasant to dine in the evening. The excursions are also excellent! There are two swimming pools which are ideal for relaxing after a day in the desert. Obviously they are full of sand, but that's normal given where we are. The garden is also very beautiful and well-kept.

Everything was good but the pool. I unfortunatly desided to take a swim in the not so clear water due the hot weather. Accidently I got water in my mouth. Thi resulted in a 12 day stomach sickness. High fever and pain. I had the same food as the rest of the group I was the only to get sick. I was also the only one to dive into the pool!

This was a very OK hotel that is geared toward tour groups. Very nice cabins are organized around a pool. There was a stereotypical experience that German tourists got there first and "reserved" the chairs and towels and limited access for others. One of our group also had a challenge in that one of the porters put their suitcases on the wrong tour bus and it took quite some time to track that bus down and correct the issue. The hotel was helpful in that endeavor. This was a "way station" for our group between Windhoek and Sousouvlei. It did its job very well in that regard. For large groups or people traveling in their own car that need a place to rest, it is definitely a good place.

We loved our stay here! After 12 days in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, this was a welcome and much needed bit of luxury on our way back to Windhoek. We stayed 2 nights and were sad to leave. We stayed in the Ground Agama family unit (#41) and it was detached so nice and private. It had a great view over a waterhole and we enjoyed relaxing on the egg chair on the patio watching the guinea fowl and mongoose come to drink. We also saw Eland here, which we hadn't been able to see at KTP. The food here was the highlight of the stay! I wasn't expecting all that much with it being a buffet and me being vegetarian, but they catered so much for veggies. The soup and at least 1 starter was veggie (the gem squash soup was one of the best soups I've ever had!!) and although there was no veggie main, the vegetable sides were exceptional. The ratatouille was a stand out dish. Breakfast was also good and we requested a lunch box for the way home quite late at night, and this wasn't a problem. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the air con worked well, the shower was great, and the master bed had a mosquito net (which we wished we had in other places we stayed!) The only thing that was missing was a mini fridge as we had some cold drinks and water with us, and nowhere to store them. They do provide tap water in glass bottles. Also, perhaps more storage in the bedrooms as there was only a small hanging space and we couldn't really unpack anything. Not a big deal as we only stayed a couple of nights, but if you were staying longer then it might be a problem.

This was the first stop on our Namibia tour and just a place to feel good. We were lucky and our lodge faced the desert. We really enjoyed the great service, the drinks and a delicious dinner. The highlight was the sundowner tour with John "Rambo", which included a 3-hour game drive followed by a sundowner. Simply fantastic!

We had an excellent accommodation option, a comfortable stay at the Kalahari Anib Lodge, the rooms there are equipped with everything you need. In the middle of a vast desert, it is amazing to be in good civilized conditions. I really enjoyed the dinner; it offered wild animal meat, and it was incredibly tasty.
