Hotels Near Pan de Amerikana in Marikina

Our family has often taken to staycations in Hotels within Manila to beat the usual traffic in and out of the Metro. Since the Holy Week would definitely be the height of traffic, we opted to choose up please that wouldn't take us more than an hour from Quezon City. We miss Baguio and seeing mountains and fresh cool breeze so Timberland was the 1st venue that came to mind. This place has often been a favorite of the university where I work for seminars conventions and recreational activities. Last January my husband and I tried it out for an overnight stay and we kept on telling ourselves it would be great to bring our kids back here. Since my kids are both adults I opted to get a separate room for them. Our kids asked if their friends could come along for the day pass which we agreed to. The Day pass allows them to use of amenities such as the swimming pool the covered courts and the rock climbing area which they thoroughly enjoyed. The fee also included an amount allotted for consumable food and drink at the cafe Ridge. I had made a reservation through their Viber account and I was assisted by Erica who assured me that my reservation stands. Upon arriving, at the lobby I was greeted by Aliyah and Kar greeted us cheerfully. Since we arrived before lunch our room was not yet available so it was recommended that we have snacks at Baker J or the cafe Ridge. We were also informed that we could use the pool and other amenities while we waited for our room could be available. My kids headed straight to the Rock Climbing facility and afterwards, the pool area which had a good view of the cityscape. At the cafe Ridge, we were attended to by JC who helped us rearrange the tables at the balcony since it had been raining and he wanted to make sure we would not get wet. Everything we ordered was delicious especially their burger where you can choose how you want it cooked so we chose medium well and although it took some time for it to be served it was worth the wait because it was juicy and flavorful. Later on I was informed via Viber that our rooms were available. Upon retrieving our key cards at the front desk I was greeted by Gina who recognized me from our previous day. Having a familiar face really makes this place feel like home which my family and I always look forward to in returning. We were granted adjacent rooms. I was so thankful that both rooms had really cold and strong air conditioning because the heat in Manila was just unbelievable. A few moments later Kar called to check up on us to make sure everything was in order. Later on, I would make inquiries through their handset phones and I was able to speak to Gina making inquiries about their activities for the weekend she gave a detailed description of what we could expect. After dinner, we went to the balcony where it was surprising to see an outdoor movie set up for the night. There was even a popcorn machine and a stand that sold churros first snacks. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff was nice and accomodating. The television has Netflix, but the hotel has a weak Wi-Fi signal. There were towels and slippers, and they also have hot showers. The hotel is easy to access and has a 7-11 near it.

FACILITY IS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE FOR LONG STAY.

Had to stay for 10 days quarantine, my family paid the first day in advance of my checking in, I spent 8 days there and was still required to pay for 10 days. Also being doubles charged for the one day already paid for in advance. The hotel must be running a scam. No sure if management know about this. Will dispute my charges with my bank. They refused to give me my paperwork at check out. The AC broke down, the toilet was broken. This has been my worst stay in this place.

Their service treats their guests well. There is something you can't deny that they have a shortcoming. Just like the bathtub drain doesn't work. Their air conditioner is a bit weak. We booked this hotel because of the amenities. We didn't use it because the pool was being repaired. It was a little sad and disappointing but overall my gf and I enjoyed it. Thanks anyway.

I stayed at Ibis Styles Araneta so I can get peace and quiet while I finished my book and that was what I got. Although not the typical desk and chair set-up, it really worked for the work I needed to do. The rooms may be on the small size but there was enough natural light that flooded the room and kept me energized during my entire stay. I had a really great time from start to finish. Once I arrived at the driveway, I was already assisted by their staff. Check-in was fast and the front desk staff (Sam) even helped me get my luggage to my room. The room was very cozy, clean, and chill. One of the downsides would have to be the closet since it was just a rod on top of the coffee station and the clothes drop down on the coffee cups. Another downside are the roll-down blinds. If you don't want to be seen outside, you'd have to roll down all the blinds and prevent any sunlight flooding the room. Not a big problem though. Really enjoyed Le Bistro and the Edge Skyview Bar. Very cozy places to just relax. I also love the panoramic views by the rooftop bar. I would really have appreciated it if the buffet and Le Bistro had several vegan food choices. It's a good thing Gateway Mall is right beside the hotel so I was able to eat my meals. I love that they have a water dispenser and provided a water pitcher in the room to make it easier for water refill. The lobby is also a great place to hangout and work in at times. Over all, I'd stay here again.

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff are nice and helpful. The room is really bad. The window in my room doesn't have access to sunlight, outside the window is a closed space where you can't see anything. Making the room dark and feels like you are inside a dungeon. Who builds rooms without windows that have access to sunlight?? The bedsheets are thin and doesn't look clean. I have found several small cockroaches in my room.

It is my first time and my whole family staycation in Solaire North. It is very accessible to us since it is near our place and since it is beside a mall. Me and my family enjoyed so much in this hotel. Everything exceeds our expectations. Me, together with my whole family loves staying here. Everything smells so fresh. Far way different to all the hotels we have been to. Staffs are so hospitable, all willing to help and assist. We couldn't ask for more. I would just like to special mention Daryl from the housekeeping department he always extends his helping hands to us specially me who has two children, always asking me and my whole family members if we need anything else and if there is any help he can gives us. He also ensures our comfortability and our needs have been met by continuously asking us if i and my family needs something and/or having his own initiative to help even without being asked. Our room always stays fresh, clean, and restocked with all the staff that we will need during our stay. It was a unforgettable stay and experience. We are so glad to have him as our housekeeping staff during our stay. And will definitely personally request for him again as he is very attentive and easy to deal with. My kids are so happy staying here and we would definitely coming back. Thank you so much Solaire North.

We booked a Superior King room and was upgraded to a Premiere King room that is much bigger. The hotel smells so good. I noticed there was only 1 receptionist in the front office so waiting is expected when checking in and out. The room is basic but it really is spacious. It’s too big for the rate we paid for. The TV is just an LCD TV, not smart. Beddings seem old but they smell good. No bath robes. No slippers. No coffee / tea / sugar but there’s an electric kettle in the room and free water in the hallway. Water pressure is good. Bathroom fixtures seem new. There’s bidet and free toiletries. Only 2 bath towels were provided. Our upgraded room is generous with furnitures. Good internet signal in the room. We’ll certainly go back to this hotel. Take note that there’s a ₱2,000 security deposit upon check in and parking slots are limited. Hotel is walking distance from famous binondo restaurants so if you’re planning for a food trip in binondo, this hotel is my best bet. All hotel staff are accommodating and friendly. We love this hotel.

The hotel is located at a convenient spot, there’s restaurants around and other facilities. The front desk staff are friendly and professional. The room was okay, the only problem was the hotel slippers as they are not made of good quality. There’s transport available outside the hotel for convenient travelling. Overall it was a good place and the experience was pleasant.
