This hotel is terrible dirty! The room smells so bad and dust is everywhere. Carpet and bed was dirty. No amentites, no even free water. Just waste of money.

The staff friendly and efficient. The room comfortable. The air conditioner is a bit noisy but efficient. Bathroom lighting amazing. The water in the bathroom gets hot quickly to scalding temps. The faucet if water turned up will spray all over. The beds comfortable the pillows a bit flat but ok. The restaurant has good food. Selection limited. The coffee is good. The bar closes early but when open good cocktails and appetizers. The TV was difficult to figure out how to use so we skipped it. We did not miss it.

Clean room, friendly staff, and quiet. We got a room with a balcony and it was a beautiful view. Walking path, park and beautiful view of the water.

I stayed here for one night to be closer to LAX airport. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. My room on the fourth floor appeared to be newly renovated and well taken care of. The room overlooked the parking lot and was mostly quiet but I think better windows/sliding door would be needed for improved sound proofing. I didn't find noise to be a problem. I self-parked. I did't see the point of valet at this hotel since the parking lot is attached. I would stay here again.

The hotel offers one of the most beautiful views in L.A. directly onto the small sandy beach of Marina del Rey. The extra charge for the corresponding rooms is worth it. Venice Pier and Venice Beach are within walking distance. The other tourist highlights such as Santa Monica, Malibu, Hollywood, etc. are easy to reach by car. Very spacious rooms, which are currently (January 24) being renovated little by little, but the old condition is also fine. The pool and whirlpool should also be renovated again, but are also fine. On the Marina beach, a few meters away, there are BBQ areas (grill and benches) that can be used free of charge. The hotel restaurant is also a popular breakfast spot for locals, although breakfast is not included in the price. The typical American restaurants "Cheesecake Factory" and "Killer Shrimp" are just a few meters away. Parking costs $32/night, as long as you park yourself. Valet parking is even more expensive, unfortunately the fee is far too high, but it has become common practice in the USA in recent years. We are regular guests in L.A. and the combination of location, view, room size and price is the best for us. Palm trees in front of the hotel and the beach immediately give you a cozy holiday feeling.
