Hotel Coluccini

Un pernotto business, hotel vicinissimo al mare, parcheggio comodo, reception accogliente come del resto il personale. Camere da rivedere, un po’ vecchie da ristrutturare, colazione sufficiente, salato un po’ scarso. Sincerante una lunga vacanza la escluderei.

Posizione top: proprio davanti al mare . Parcheggio compreso . La Hall bella e moderna . Punti di forza : la pulizia e la gentilezza dei titolari . Da migliorare : ammodernamento mobili camere e qualche dettaglio : nel box doccia mancava qualcosa per appoggiare shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Colazione da migliorare nella parte salata con prosciutti e formaggi .

Albergo elegante, posizione centrale, direttamente sul lungomare dove si trova il bagno privato dell’hotel. Camera vista mare, balcone privato e accesso alle grandi terrazze fronte mare. Parcheggio privato, ampia sala colazione e ristorante con possibilità di spazi all’aperto.

I stayed in this hotel for a week in August, an experience that I would neither repeat nor recommend. The hotel seen in the photos and from the outside looks very nice and recently renovated but once inside you can immediately notice a lot of sore points. Starting from the cleanliness: in all the common areas it leaves much to be desired, the stairs and corridors are very dirty, as well as the common terraces and the external staircase leading to the breakfast veranda, in the latter you can see various objects abandoned here and there like landfill. The carpet that covers the internal stairs and corridors is dirty and full of dust, there are cobwebs on the stair railings. Even the breakfast veranda is really poorly maintained, a little more attention would be needed especially as regards the cleaning of the tables and chairs, the latter being of white fabric are often dirty with food and in some cases even with bird droppings. The breakfast buffet is normal, there is a good variety of both sweets and the salty part, even if there is little attention, when something ends it is often not replenished. Another sore point is the bicycle service, we mistakenly assumed that the service was included in the price of the hotel (as happens in most hotels in Italy) but surprisingly we found the charge on the invoice, 48 € for having used two bicycles 3 times (a couple of hours at a time). To avoid this inconvenience it would be sufficient to specify that the service is paid immediately when the bicycle is taken, it takes little. To conclude our holiday in style then, two days before departure, we had an absurd experience! We suffered the theft of a personal item, stolen from our room. Once this unpleasant fact was reported to the hotel staff, we let it run around waiting to receive updates, magically the following day this object was found, according to the staff "in a common area of the hotel". had never left the room by our hand nor had we gone to the place where the object was claimed to have been found, all very strange indeed. We did not want to go further to investigate the matter as the important thing was that the object had reappeared but despite this it is really absurd and unacceptable that in a hotel where you pay 200 € per night the service staff would allow themselves to put the hands among the personal items of the guests. I think that for the general level of the hotel the price is too high and not at all justified. I would like to say that the only positive aspects of this hotel are the proximity to the sea (just cross the road) and the strategic position, near the motorway exit and halfway between Forte dei Marmi and the city center.

Bad hotel, needs to be refurbished and cleaned. We stayed 2 nights for the modest sum of 220 euros per night which is not even worth half it. The room was dark and smelled bad. All quite old, including linen. The towels worn out, the bedspread washed out. The almost indifferent reception staff. With that price not even the agreement with a beach in front. No attention to children .... we had to ask for the passage on foot with a stroller given the steps at the entrance. In addition, the bicycles supplied by the hotel, not having a child seat available, replied "go and rent them in the street opposite". Not recommended

3 stars at the limit of the stars. Poor room cleaning, we found hair and dust everywhere and a dirty bathroom bin with waste inside. Insufficient breakfast service in Italy it is impossible not to serve a coffee or a cappuccino and use self-service machines (which are probably fine for a foreign target). Bicycle service for a fee, it would be advisable to indicate this to customers and not find it on the invoice. Condition and maintenance of bicycles to be improved given the paid service.

With friends we decided to take a short vacation. Marina di PIetrasanta seemed to us the right destination since our destination was Tuscany. We had a great time in this hotel. It has been run for years by the Coluccini family itself. excellent location (you cross the road and you are on the beach), excellent hospitality, impeccable cleanliness and services, polite and attentive staff. A praise deserves the restaurant with dishes of typical Italian cuisine in the right quantity to make you enjoy everything from appetizer to dessert, and what a dessert !! The cook is a member of the family to whom my compliments go

We booked the hotel based on the reviews for 3 nights (room with a sea view - but without a balcony because it was no longer available). We were traveling from the vineyards, arrived late afternoon and they tried to give us the wrong room (at the back, no sea view). After we complained, we got a room with a sea view - and suddenly a balcony was also available. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, there was dust everywhere in the bathroom. Breakfast also only mediocre and sloppy. The dirty tablecloth by the coffee machine wasn't changed for three days, and the coffee stains along the wall weren't removed either. The staff weren't exactly overly friendly either, we hardly got any information. We were informed about the bicycles but not told that they cost anything. We then had EUR 14.00 on the bill - which for 3 hours of bike rental at the room price is actually a cheek... in many other hotels you get the bikes for free. Unfortunately, we cannot really recommend the house - we felt more tolerated than welcome. Apparently guests from France and Italy are more welcome here.
