Smith Creek Village

Beautiful peaceful and relaxing. The new managment was on par for customer service and up keep. And one of my favorite getaways that I will keep returning too.

Our first time staying since the new management company took over. We give them high marks. Have the cinnamon roll! Hope they can get food service set up at Smith Creek. At least on weekends. Right now just breakfast burritos and pastries. We stayed in the Raccoon duplex. Had neighbors, but never really heard them. Just a flushing toilet since bathrooms share the wall. Comfy bed! They said it’s a queen. It’s cozy. No room for anything but sleeping. We used the common fire pit to roast hotdogs. They have roasting sticks and supplied wood. Everything seems in great shape.

I want to live this place but it’s terrible. I visited in 2022 and the kitchen flooded. I reached out to every number possible and no one responded. So we had no kitchen to use the entire. Booked again in 2024 to give another chance. We were verbally assaulted while eating breakfast by a family who was renting most of the cabins. They had all night relay races in the lawn and were throwing footballs at our car. When we told the kids to stop, their adults verbally assaulted in the dining room the next morning. There are quiet hours that start at 10 but no staff to enforce. We were forced to leave early because they followed us back to our cabin and continued to yell at us. The woman working the cafe was lovely and tried to help, but she couldn’t do much. Then I accidentally left a couple garments behind in our haste. I reached out the next day and was told they found my items and would send them. It’s been 9 weeks and they still won’t send my items even though they told me they would. They have the worst hospitality service.

expec rain this time of year. great resturant, excellent breakfasts with wood fired fire place. Cozy and fantastic service. Had almost everything on the menu for breakfast, you can not go wrong. Repeat is in order next year, weather permitting

I stayed at Calypso cabin in 2022. The kitchen sink had a water leak and we were unable to use the kitchen. I called emergency guest services and contacted guest services during the day, but the water leak was not fixed during our stay. I booked again in Aug 2023 and needed to cancel due to extreme heat conditions (temperature forecast for 109°). I was told I could rebook midweek in the winter or lose my money. Or I can bring a fan. They do not care about the safety of their guests or staff.
