B&B pienamente secondo le aspettative in un villaggio da fiaba. Ha tutto il necessario per un soggiorno in un appartamento tipico di Marken. Un plus è il parcheggio gratuito. Il proprietario si è mostrato sempre gentile ed ha dato buoni consigli. Buona anche la cucina del pub - ristorante.

From the second you drive on the Bridge towards Marken you are thriving on the old dutch looks and vibes the island gives. The host (Bertus) of the Pepersteeg continues this experience above and beyond when he invites you in the B&B. When you enter, you step a few decades back is time the dutch culture and everything is presented nice and clean. Lovely experience of Marken with good warm welcome when we arrived. This is the old school dutch hospitality, any request we had was meeted above and beyond.

Clean, cozy, wonderful and practical stay. Rooms attractive and clean. Beds wonderful. The shared kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compar**ent is very handy. Parking, harbour, restaurants and ferry to Volendam, everything nearby and within walking distance, even for people with a walker. Staying on the first floor is recommended for people who only want to climb one flight of stairs and have their own bathroom and toilet. Stair with some style. B&B Worth repeating and definitely recommended to others!!

I enjoyed a lovely one night stay at De Pepersteeg Marken. Cozy room, lovely breakfast, amazing hospitality and the next day a lovely four hours hike around the island. I'll be happy to come again and combine with travelling to Amsterdam by bus.

The place to stay in Marken. De Pepersteeg is a small, comfy B&B. Tastefully decorated and very clean. If you want a honest and genuine ‘Marken experience’, this is the place to stay. Rooms are great, view from the windows is amazing. Don’t doubt, book it and enjoy!

It was a very cute property, well situated, with a friendly and helpful host. Kitchen access was helpful. Breakfast was solid. I would definitely stay again.

Had a very wonderful stay at the B&B while visiting friends in Marken. Stayed in room 4 on the second floor, which was very spacious and had a private bathroom. A breakfast buffé was served everyday at a restaurant close by, just a short walk from the hotel. The owner was very nice and accomodating. Will definately return.
