Finally got to stay in Marlo Hotel. We have tried many times however always been fully booked. Love to newly renovated room with balcony. Great being about to stroll through a door to the bistro. Staff friendly and helpful. Travelling from NSW to Melbourne it is a great little find for an overnighter to split the journey.

The accommodation was fantastic value for money. All amenities you need. Very clean and spacious. The manager Paul and staff were extremely friendly in the pub. The food was exceptional and it had a great atmosphere.I would go back to this place again on a family holiday.

This was our third stay in 3 years at this great hotel. The setting is simply breathtaking. We always book the Tower Room, for the views from the room and balcony are second to none. One gets the evening sea breeze, and sound of the waves from the ocean/river estuary. The rooms are very clean and well appointed with a fridge, plates, utensils, toaster and a kettle. Though the wifi is mostly available, it can be fickle, but in the restaurant/pub, the reception was perfect. The place was packed-out on a Tuesday night! It’s very quiet and the staff are very polite and helpful. The restaurant/pub that is anchored to this hotel is also excellent. We highly recommend this place.

The mushroom burger was simply the best burger I’ve had i years! The sauces were complex and the flavour was fantastic the chips were darn good as well….. we ate on the outdoor patio area with shaded areas for us to sit on this hot day. The view was spectacular. The rivers converging on the sea is certainly a beautiful sight to look at while enjoying some top food. Better than Sydney’s higher priced food for sure.

What a great find by the Snowy River! Marlo Hotel was a great, clean, comfortable stay while passing through the coast. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and we had a great meal out on the deck after checking in. The place was busy with it being a long weekend, but the customer service was outstanding. The location was really pretty by the river and hearing the sea. A short walk in the morning to get a coffee before checking out. Perfect little stop over!

Had been traveling back to Sydney along the coast and decided to detour via Marlo. Turn at Orbost and go 15km to the mouth of the Snowy River. Quiet location but busy hotel. Had booked a private bath room and it came with comfy bed, large spa bath room and a smaller sitting room ideal for catching up with my work. Easy walk through to the dining area. Good menu with some unusual offerings. Sat on the open deck and watched the sun set.

Just had lunch here, beautiful food, we had a selection of small plates: tempura fish tacos, crispy southern fried chicken and cauliflower popcorn with a bowl of chips for good measure, all dishes were delicious and nicely presented. Staff were friendly and the Carlton draught icy cold, an absolute winner cheers

Do yourself a favour and try the Marlo Hotel’s seafood chowder. Normally I would go straight for a steak or pork belly but I overheard someone saying how good the chowder was so I branched out. It was superb. In fact, the whole menu was superb. We tried the garlic bread, calamari, Pork belly, steak and chowder while we were there and they were spot on. The pub has amazing staff, always friendly and up for a chat. The pub also promotes live music which was evident with the big stage set up next to the pub! A great pub to visit!

Great staff, awesome meals, very inviting atmosphere. Considering it was a crazy long weekend and they were understaffed, we were looked after wonderfully. Meals were excellent, drinks cold and refreshing. Even made me a coffee when it was frantic. Well done everyone keep up the good work. You all did an amazing job. Saw everyone multi tasking.
