Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge & Kruger Safari's - No Loadshedding

The moment we arrived at Foxy Crocodile - we were greeted with this amazing big smile, from owner Riëtte. That was it for both us - a big welcoming smile and we automatically felt at home. Riëtte’s husband Basil was always around if we needed any advice or help and was very welcoming and chilled out. Which is what we really wanted - chilled and happy hosts. Glen was our Kruger National Park guide, from Foxy Crocodile - now this guy is something else. Very very knowledgeable and took us to parts of the park, where there were no other guides. And yes - we managed to spot all of the Big Five in one day. You couldn’t make it up - so a big 10/10 for Riëtte,Basil and Glen for that amazing experience. Couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff:- Elizabeth, Patricia, Nompie, Lucky and Pendulo were all brilliant. Always around if and when you needed anything and the food they prepared was out of this world. The staff would always stop for a little chat, which was nice and they all seemed so happy. The location is right on the KNP - so don’t be surprised when the odd Giraffe, Impala, Kudu or Warthogs casually walk by when you’re having your breakfast. Amazing experience - which we highly recommend. For the location, the host, the KNP guide and of course the staff. We will return

We booked for 5 days but ended up staying for 7 enjoying the view over the crocodile river, drives into the Kruger with Crocodile bridge less than 20 minutes away, relaxing in the warm evenings and cool mornings braaiing every night and the thoughtful and friendly hosting from Basil and Riette. We'll be back!

My girlfriend and me spent three days at Foxy Crocodile in aug24. It was a beautiful experience from the moment we arrived there to the moment we left. When we got there there were several impalas grazing on the lawn, we also received visits of Kudos and Giraffes. Regarding the facilities, they’re pretty good actually. Spaced rooms, clean, very comfortable and pretty. I had a great experience trying Kudo Potjie (the girls cook really well) and an amazing Safari experience with Glen (he’s also a good photographer). Basil and Riëtte were wonderful in every detail, out experience was very precious because of them. I’ll never forget! ❤️

My wife and I just loved every minute there. We stayed in Foxy Villa the room is spacious comfortably furnished, the outside is equipped with both gas a wood fire braai facilities. Riette and Basil and staff makes it feel home from home in the Bush. Kruger is a 3m dirt road away and on the Crocodile River. Most definitely will be returning and will refer.

We had such a wonderful time at Foxy. The hosts are so warm and welcoming, the staff cannot do enough. Wonderful spot, right on the banks of the river. The accommodation is modern and spacious, the outside shower is a must. Definitely recommend.

Loved it thank you so much. We will definitely stay at Foxy Crocodile again in the future the Management is so friendly and welcoming. The location in Marloth Park is perfect for a quick day trip to the Kruger. However just driving past the border fence located in Marloth Park and on the banks of the Crocodile River provides a lot of amazing wildlife sightings. Also visit the Amazing River View restaurant for the VIEWS even just for a sundowner drink as the view is totally amazing and worth it.
