Easy access by walking to sightseeing places nearby despite the hustling front market is a bit messy. Our room is spacious with comfy bed and warm quality beddings. The cleaning is superb and the service is personal, yet bath towels are admittedly pretty worn out. However we admire the splendid traditional decor in the house with beautiful antique wooden doors! We enjoyed breakfast by the fireside at the courtyard and amazed by the spectacular view at the roof terrace. Special thanks to manager Cissy for her hospitality and heartfelt sharing about the King’s touching stories. Lovely stay at Armelle and we feel home there!

The location was just right we had access to everything we wanted to see and the trips pick up point was just steps away. The Riad was very clean and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. It was a great location to escape from the hustle and bustle of medina life.

Possibly one of the best experiences I’ve had from Morocco! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, clean and cosy.

Really impressive Riad, with very nice interior design, each room differrent, friendly staff always helpful. Good breakfast choices in the patio, creating however morning disturbances in some rooms with direct Patio access. Easy to find location with good access to and from the main tourist sites (all in reach 15-25 Min by foot).

The riad was 15 minutes from the center by walking around a bit. The family that runs it, the truth is that they treated us great from the first moment and everything was very easy. Breakfast was not bad, enough to start the day. The upstairs terrace is impressive, and very comfortable for dinner.

Beautiful Riad! Restored and furnished with great attention to detail! Like 1001 Nights! The only thing that needs to be mentioned is the clairaudience! Evening guests and breakfast gesture can be heard in the room. Apart from the fact that the food was perfect and the service was excellent, polite, humorous and very helpful, the noise is the only drawback. But you are in Marrakesh and not in loneliness😃

Lovely authentic hotel. Traditional bedrooms and ornate furnishings. Staff were very friendly and helpful, booking a visit at a Hamman for us and giving tips on taxis. Breakfast was a little limited but enough for what we needed. I would definitely go back

We stayed a week in the Riad Armelle, an authentic quaint Riad. It is well placed for exploring the old town. The decor is amazing and the room immaculately clean. It is a very calm place within the bustle of the city. One or 2 things could have been improved to make it 5* review.

The courtyard is stunning, the room decor is intricate and colorful, every corner or detail you see, you'll find something beautiful to stare at for a few minutes! Staff was helpful, very warm and friendly. A lovely breakfast spread in the morning.

Beautiful architecture and decor, relaxed and away from busy roads but close enough to walk to markets and main sights. More in a traditional area within city walls, get to experience more authentic Marrakech which is bustling. The service was good, friendly and breakfast was delicious. The room was fabulous, bathroom beautiful and comfy bed, plus aircon. Thank you for looking after us on our first visit to Marrakech.

I have been extremely lucky to be able to adventure a large part of the world and have stayed in many types of accommodation but have to say riad armelle is one of its kind for service quality and atmosphere, the service is exceptional and the quality is excellent. The unique and highly themed interior is magnificent giving a real feel of Moroccan splendour ! Highly highly recommended this place a jewel in the crown!

Beautiful riad in a great location, easy to walk to souks and the main square. Outside the riad is a busy local market street, really interesting and full of local people buying groceries. The riad is found down an alleyway. Once you walk in, the central area is very beautiful and tranquil. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was superb and plentiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and full of traditional character. Gorgeous peaceful roof terrace with lots of private seating areas. I highly recommend this riad.

It was our first time to Morocco and having spent nearly two hours getting through arrivals at Marrakech Airport it was a relief to finally find the Riad Armelle sign outside for our transfer to the Riad. We entered the Medina and parked about 300yds or so from the Riad - the experience of the people, cooking smoke and incessant scooters was surreal, and then we turned into an alleyway to a nondescript door.... and into an Oasis! It was 10pm but we were met as friends by Seessy [sic] who described the Riad, took us to our rooms and we then had the most wonderful meal, that had clearly been prepared just for us as we arrived. That set the scene for a lovely four days that I think would have been so much less authentic had we stayed in a hotel - the rooms are as advertised, the food was excellent, but above all the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Thank you for making our trip to Morocco such a lovely experience.

My wife and I were staying one night in Riad Armelle after coming back to Marrakech after our tour to the Sahara. First of all, the Riad was gorgeous with a beautiful courtyard and interior decor. However, because we were only staying for one night, and since we had already previously been to Marrakech, we did not feel like we were treated with the typical hospitality that one would expect. When we told the female afternoon manager that we were coming from the Sahara, she stated "oh so since you're coming from the South you just need a bed." She did not take any time to explain the layout of the Riad, when breakfast would be, what the wifi was, etc. There was no sense of "trying" with us because the assumption was just that we just wanted a place to sleep. There is a lot of potential with this Riad however we did not feel any warmth from this particular manager. Given the other positive reviews, our experience is not the case for every customer but if you are only staying for one night perhaps try to another Riad.
