Positives: *Location is close enough to everything, moving around is quite easy. Total time to Vieux Port is around 20 minutes with a bike or public transport. *Size of the room is more than enough for two people, bathroom is nice and spacious as well. Neutral: *Service was neither bad nor good, if French isn't a language you speak then communication may be something you struggle with when talking to the staff. *You will NOT be provided with anything extra besides what is already in the room when you arrived since it is an Apartment/Hotel as they say. This means no extra towels, paper towels etc. Bad: The room was quite dirty in the sense that there was dust all over the place. Under the bed, on the curtains, on the desk, the kitchen area, the bathroom, and even the AC filter. It seems that they just changed the bed sheets and towels after the previous occupants left. Everything else was left as is. Terrible/Horrendous: My biggest complaint about my stay was the air conditioner itself, it wasn't "working" for my entire stay. I actively only searched for properties with ACs when booking because I knew it was going to be warm in the period I went. To my surprise the AC was not blowing any air when I first turned it on, I left it there for a while to see if anything changed but that was not the case. I then went to the lobby to make my complaint and as expected they already knew there was a problem; the AC central cooling system was not working. This was never anounced on their website, nor was it ever mentioned to me the moment I checked in. It was not until I complained that they were like " yeah the AC is not working but someone is coming to fix it tomorrow". Tomorrow turned into the next day and then the day after that......and then..... There was not one improvement made during my entire stay. No apologies, no extra accommodation with something like a fan, not even an update on what was happening. It's just a very shady way to run a hotel in my opinion; it's very deceiteful. If I am paying full price for a room I want all the amenities mentioned to be there, otherwise I could've gone somewhere else. Would I recommend this hotel? Probably not. I would rate a 5/6 out of 10 overall. There are better places in the same price range that hopefully have everything you're looking for and aren't as devious about it.
