Although the majong is small, it has all the necessary facilities and free parking. The best thing is that the bathroom has a lot of water and it is very comfortable to take a bath. The worst thing is that the wifi and signal are very poor, both stuck on 3G. It is okay to stay for just one night, but not particularly good. , Martinborough is a quiet town with good wine. It is definitely worth a visit for wine lovers. The town has a small population and the city center is not big. It is recommended to stay in the city center.

Lovely property in a great location -close to the centre but not too close! Ideal for wine tourism. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Their movie library was a very welcome addition.

Due to a slip up with other guests, we got upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment. Quiet and private although an early morning walk showed there were a lot of cars. Autumn nights are really chilly in the Wairarapa so the underfloor heating in the bathroom was really appreciated. Although we were only there for a night it was very comfortable. Only drawback was the wifi didn't seen to connect well (maybe others using up bandwidth 🤷🏻♂️). Definitely worth considering.

Comfortable well appointed unit, comfy bed. Walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.

Very good sized room with plenty of seating and ability to cook. Good for family or two couples. Very comfortable beds with extra pillows. Good location on edge if town. Would have liked more tea and milk. The towels are too small and shower over bath was pretty good but not ideal for older people.

Welcoming and friendly staff, a very clean, spacious room in a quiet location - what’s not to like about the Claremont? I left a charger plug behind and Management were very helpful in forwarding it on. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely clean, quiet and comfy accommodation. Nice private balcony out from the front ranch slider. The only thing I will note that may be useful for elderly guests to consider is that the shower was over the bath, and the bath side was deep, especially when getting out onto the floor. The hand soap and shower gel were in squeeze bottles attached to the walls which needed a good squeeze. If hands are arthritic it could be difficult. (I always take my own toiletries so it didn't bother us. ) We were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. S and G
