I stayed here with two friends and found this hotel wonderful on so many levels. Every member of staff was charming, helpful and appeared to enjoy whatever job they were doing. The rooms were quiet, well sized and with everything you could require. The prices in the room mini-bar were the same as the main bar, well done, that is most unusual. The restaurant had a very comprehensive menu and the items we had were excellent. We shall certainly be returning.

Check-in was quick and friendly. We were told everything we needed to know. The only thing I didn't like was the flooring! It would've felt nicer carpeted, but that's personal choice. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing! Perfectly cooked steak, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

I was disappointed that as a silver member, and bearing in mind the very rural location of the Hollies that there was no breakfast included.
The tea / coffee making facilities were truly disappointing (bearing in mind I had booked a suite with a fully equipped kitchen).
The ancient tap in the bath dripped all night too.
Just a bit shoddy really
It was spotlessly clean though.
The restaurant food was also decent.
The facade of the building was lovely, but overall it just felt lacking for the money they charged.

Room was a good size with a large bathroom. Lovely views and table outside to sit at and enjoy the scenery. As there are sliding patio doors, there are no windows to open so was very hot at night, ceiling fan is noisy but necessary.
Arrangement of additional beds in the room was odd and children’s beds are pull outs and not comfortable.
