The front desk failed to inform us of the third floor entrance, or the fitness room which we didn’t discover until checking out. One room key did not work; when I informed the front desk, they told me I had done something to demagnetize the key, however, it had been in my wallet where I keep my credit cards and I’ve never had an issue. The hot tub was not hot & children were using it as a wading pool. I could smell smoke in the pool area that appeared to be coming from one of the rooms. At 6 o’clock in the morning, loud noises were echoing up through the atrium. I later observed the staff shouting at each other across the atrium. They would not accommodate us with a late check out, despite being in a snowstorm with streets yet to be cleared. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi and TV. Not much of a Riverview.
