Hotel Iaccarino

What can we say about this hotel, it had everything we could possibly need. We paid extra for a sea view balcony and we were not disappointed. I would wake early and sit on the balcony reading watching the sunrise over the mountains. The thing that makes this hotel excellent in our opinion without doubt are the staff. The housekeeping staff kept not only our room but all areas immaculate. The restaurant staff were so good. I have a severe allergy and each night they made sure my meal was tailored to my needs. The views from the terrace are outstanding the perfect setting for your evening meal. Evening meals are three courses and they were really nice with a good choice. Breakfast was buffet style with ample choices, cooked breakfast, continental, toast, fresh fruit, tea/coffee etc. , The bar staff are lovely, the best cappuccino. Reception staff - oh my word they are outstanding! Raffaella, Lugaretzia, Matteo and the wonderful young Dan. They are so helpful, kind and friendly. They helped us organise trips and gave a lot of advice on things to do. They are an asset to the hotel. The hotel has a lovely pool with pool bar where you can get snacks, ice creams and drinks.pizzas are nice. We were given a water bottle to refill and water on lemon water is available in reception all the time. This was a lovely touch. The little village behind the hotel has a little few shops and nice bars. The supermarket is just round the corner from the petrol station. We used to go to a little bar called Racy cocktail bar, the owner is really nice. The hotel offers a shuttle service, which is advisable to book the night before. Drop off and pick up is in the same spot just a short stroll from the middle of Sorrento. There is quite a bank to get up so be prepared for that. One of the drivers was singing and giving us a run down on Italian artists - what a funny guy. We did an organised boat trip to Capri where we got 5 hours between Capri and Ana Capri. We also took the ferry to Amalfi which was our best trip by far. It’s such a beautiful vibrant place. If you’re looking for a friendly, traditional Italian hotel, we would absolutely recommend. What a gem of a hotel this is. Five friends stayed for a week, and we had a fantastic time. The staff, the pool, the rooms, the setting. Everything was beautiful. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and we met some lovely people who were also enjoying their time at the hotel. Tutt’Appost in the village was amazing for food and wine, and they also provided a gorgeous cake for our friend’s 60th birthday. Also Mimis, for fantastic pizza as well as charming (and v handsome) staff! A great week, would highly recommend hotel Jaccarino

Absolutely stunning location, amazing views of bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Lovely atmosphere, very Italian style. Room was lovely with picture postcard view of stunning scenery. I travelled with an organised tour and found it to be very good value. Definitely travel back to stay at this location again. You have the best of both worlds because of the shuttle bus you can travel down to sorrento and you also have a lovely village just behind the hotel to enjoy also. Staff so lovely too.

Where do i start. We were greeted with help and the warmest of welcomes by the beautiful raffaella who helped with our cases and was always there to if needed. Our room was lovely, comfy bed and superb view of the pool and versuvius room 51. Pool fantastic with amazing views, And thankyou to the pool staff valario and sorry didnt get the other nice guys name. They were both great. This hotel is full of Italian charm and character and would highly recommend. Breakfast very good choice of food. And a huge thankyou to mateus who booked our excursions and fixed our case. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Shuttle bus is very handy too, sorrento is wonderful. We will be back. Lots of love and thanks to everyone x

Our stay at Hotel Jaccarino in Sant’Agata was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism from every member of staff. The hospitality was exceptional, making us feel relaxed and valued throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and a wonderful atmosphere that made our experience even more special. Every detail was well taken care of, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the excellent service and delicious food. My wife and I recently stayed at hotel Jaccarino for our honeymoon and were blown away by the hotel and staff. From start to finish the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, comfortable and well looked after. The hotel is in a perfect location, nestled in the hill with stunning views across the peninsula. They have a regular, daily shuttle bus into sorrento and back that is free for guests to book as they please. The pool is beautiful and a good size and the food is delicious and available in abundance. The hotel has been in the family for years and it tells as it really felt like every aspect of the guest experience has been considered. We spoke to many other guests who are regulars and we can certainly see why.. we will be back! Could not fault our experience. Thankyou so much.

We have just returned from 4 nights staying at Jaccarino, where we celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary. The facilities were excellent. We had a superior sea view with balcony. The room was clean, well maintained, with a huge shower. The view from the balcony was mind blowing. We were given a bottle of fizz on arrival which was very much appreciated. The staff were welcoming and professional, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very special. The area was quiet and exactly what we wanted, but the shuttle bus meant that we could easily get into Sorrento to explore and access the ferry to Positano. Breakfast was high quality with a good variety, the ability to have omelette and panckaes cooked freshly was welcomed, fresh orange juice squeezed was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and by the pool, to enjoy the beautiful weather. Pizza on the terrace was a lunchtime treat. The only area that was a disappointment was the evening food as mentioned in other reviews. We ate in on the second evening and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. It seems weird that a hotel that apparently started as a restaurant is not making more effort on evening meals. We would definitely return to this little slice of paradise.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. The hotel rooms are very clean and spacious. We had a room with a balcony so we had a great view. The rooms were cleaned every day, and I’m pretty sure towels were changed daily. The staff are very friendly always on hand to help we booked a trip through reception with no hassle. Great location with many eatery’s near by. Or the bus stop outside to take you to sorrento town for €2. There was a free shuttle that the hotel offered, but it didn’t offer enough times in the evening so I found the bus much easier. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, but there was food available at lunch lunchtime that was great. The breakfast was continental there was plenty of choice. We had no real complaints about this hotel and And would probably stay again in the future if we came back.

Loved this place- the staff are absolutely amazing- can’t say enough good things about the lovely people on reception. Great position with the free bus into Sorrento that takes 15 mins and the local bus that stops outside to positano and amalfi. Also did the tour the hotel booked for me to capri- not the mention the little town just around the corner which has some amazing restaurants- will 100% be back. The free breakfast is also great as was the pool with the amazing views across the bay.
