Very clean room, which is a priority. Everything worked very well, loved the location for getting on the 8am ferry. Quiet as well.

This is a comfortable motel-hotel that offers rooms with a view and a nice restaurant (a bit overpriced, but with a good menu). It is also pet-friendly, a rare occurrence in Quebec. It is situated on the shore, but near an industrial area of Matane, so wilderness is not to be expected. The staff is ultra-nice and friendly (as most people in Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie), a big plus that helps forgive the outdated decor. This place needs a good facelift! I recommend warmly.

We only stayed one night and arrived late so my assessment is based on a very short visit. The main building seems to be nicely located on the beach but we were in the motels rooms across the street- which was perfectly fine. The rooms are large and clean, the linens were fresh and beds although firm were comfortable. The bathroom had been recently renovated but the carpet was stained and ugly. The curtains perfectly blocked out the light which is a bonus for me.
