Abbiamo alloggiato nella suite "Cisterna" (che non si può definire solo stanza). Ampia sia l'area notte, sia il bagno. C'è anche l'area colazione e un bagnetto di cortesia (con una seconda doccia). La suite è bellissima, anzi per il prezzo pagato (100€) è sublime. Sebbene la suite è scavata nella roccia non c'è nessun odore di umidità (avevo già alloggiato in ALTRA struttura scavata nella roccia di Matera riscontrando odore di umidità). Cortese e gentile il proprietario che ci ha anche permesso di fare il check-out in ritardo sebbene la ragazza delle pulizie era già lì. La colazione si fa in stanza, dove sono presenti fette biscottate, marmellate, nutella, macchina per il thè caldo, varie bustine di thè, succhi di frutta, latte e brioche confezionate. Unico appunto: manca la macchina del caffè con una cialda a testa (anche se il titolare ce l'ha proposto sia al check-in sia al check-out).

Posizione eccellente ( in pratica siete in mezzo si sassi), camere stupende ricavate nella roccia ( la nostra aveva una doccia divina!!) e pulizia impeccabile ( ogni giorno cambio di biancheria e pulizia generale). Inoltre nel frigo bar sempre succhi e acqua a disposizione, colazione buona compresa!!super consigliato per chi vuole venire a Matera e godersi in pace la città!!

Perfect location in the old Matera but also easily accessiblel We had the panoramic room and the private terrace was amazing! The room is comfortable, but the location and the view are still the best things in here. We didn't had a car, so they also picked us up and took us to the train station, so the service was super friendly.

The room and adjacent terrace overlooking Matera was incredible! Giacamo was super welcoming, always asking if I wanted a coffee, and really helpful in booking taxis/helping me with directions. Highly recommend!

Piena esperienza nei sassi di Matera. Accoglienza ottima. Pulizia e cura della stanza che risulta eccezionale, interamente ricavata nei sassi. Colazione buona. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato.

The hotel has a perfect location with a wonderful view of the Dome and parts of Sassi di Matera. The terrass gives a nice extra touch to the total experience of staying here. The owner is also very nice and helpful.
