The hotel is located in the ancient city of Matera. The hotel's lobby, restaurant, and guest rooms are all designed with the original characteristics of the cave. When I open the wooden windows in the room, I can see the landmark architectural landscape of the ancient cave city. The room is fully heated. If it is time If enough, you can make an appointment for a SPA. It is very convenient to go out and visit the ancient city.

The suite is large, new and clean. It is on the hillside overlooking the entire Matera. The location is excellent, and it is very close to everything.

Struttura fantastica, immersa nei sassi. Il personale qualificato e disponibile, sempre attenti a soddisfare le esigenze dei clienti. Camere ampie con ogni confort. Ottimo ristorante e menù ricco di proposte. Ottima anche la colazione.

Wir bekamen eine Tipp vom Schwesterhotel Biancodonda in Gallipoli. Es gibt richtige Zimmer in einer Höhle(Sassi) aber auch Zimmer die in Steinhäusern über mehrere Etagen verteilt sind. Das wir mit Hund reisen, waren die reinen "Cave rooms" (ohne Sicht) nicht buchbar. Wir hatten daher die Deluxe Plus Zimmer mit Terrasse und Ausblick zu den Höhlenkirchen und der Schlucht mit den Sassis. Sensationell. Das Höhlen Feeling erlebt man aber in den allgemeinen Räumen, Aufenthaltsbereichen und natürlich im Spa. Es gibt einen Lift der aber nur zwei Etagen umfasst, In Matera gehört das Treppenlaufen und Steigen einfach dazu. Sensationell ist das Spa mit wirklich großem Pool, der tatsächlich in den Berg gebaut wurde. Fantastisch. Vorab muss ein Zeitslot (1 Stunde ist kostenfrei) gebucht werden. Wir nahmen die Zeiten am Vormittag des Abreisetags und waren fast alleine. Sauna und Dampfbad und etliche Liegen sind vorhanden, auch ein umfangreiches Massage - Angebot gibt es. Der Frühstücksraum ist klein , das Büffet etwas zusammengedrängt aber es ist ein gutes Frühstücksangebot. Es gibt auch ein Restaurant, das wir aber nicht nutzten. Das Aquatico Cave Luxury Hotel ist ein empfehlenswertes Haus für die, die die moderne Interpretation mit der jahrtausendealten Höhlentradition in Matera mögen. Wer mit dem Auto da ist findet preiswerte öffentliche Plätze in der Via Lucana (Parkometer) und nur vier Gehminuten zum Hotel oder in diversen Parkhäusern. Sicher ist es überall. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr nett.

Soggiorno di una notte, location unica, camere arredate con grande gusto, nel cuore dei sassi. Comoda per visitare la città! Servizio buono e accogliente. La colazione buona . Servizio bar ottimo! Lo consiglio vivamente. Non di certo economico ma la posizione non ha eguali

Non ho niente da dire, consiglio questo Hotel a tutti quelli che vorranno passare una vacanza a Matera, specialmente per la gentilezza dello Staff sempre disponibile, l'Hotel con le sue stanze realizzate nel cuore della città vecchia, dove non manca niente, un grazie per tutto alla prossima.
